MAKASUTU FOREST PARK:
Makasutu Forest Park covered the area of 2000 hectare of the beautiful land escape situated at Kembujeh in the west coast region.
At makasutu you will have the chance to cruise with a dugout canoes along the river bank to the other side of the forest park.
You will also have to chance to see the colorful different spices of birds around the park and have a view of the floating houses within the river bank of Makasutu.
At makasutu you will see an open restaurant where guest normally has their lunch in the afternoon with the looks of the baboons around.
There is also a craft market within the park where you can find the cheapest craft work displayed for the guest.

ROOTS EXCURSION

Roots Excursion-By River
1-Pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am
2-Join our air-conditioned minibuses to Banjul
3-Get on Tourist Boat for an hour cruise to Albreda where we shall visit key historical places.(
4-We later walk to Juffureh ,the ancestral home of Kunta Kinteh
5-Meet the family of Kunta Kinteh as written by Alex Hailey in his book entitled "ROOTS" and learn about the history of the village in Trans -Atlantic Slave Trade.
6-We later get back to the boat, lunch is served on our way to the Island(James Island)
7-A tour on the Island will be conducted and learn about the tragic history of the slave trade.
8-We cruise back to Banjul before driving to hotels at 6:00 pm

Our Trips and Tours
Fathala Wildlife-North Senagl
1.Early morning pick up from your hotel at around 6:00 am
2.Drive to Banjul Ferry Terminal and cross to the Northern side of the country
3.Join our fully air conditioned buses to The Gambia-Senegal Border town of Amdallah
4.After passports checks by immigration authorities,we drive to Fathala Park which is about 5 km from the border town.
5.Upon arrival,the tour begins in the 2000 hectares protected forest.
6.Animals such as Rhinos,giraffe,antelope,lions and different species of animals will be spotted.
7.Lunch on our way back home
8.Finally get back to your hotels at around 6:00 pm..

Summary of our Trips and Tour:
Georgetown- two days visit
1- Early morning pick up from your hotel at around 6am
2- Drive to Banjul ferry terminal before crossing to Barra
3- Join our fully air-conditioned buses to Farafenni for a short break for lunch and refreshment as we visit a local Market called "Lumo"
4- We later drive to Wassu and visit the stone circles
5- In the afternoon we proceed to Kuntaur , join our tourist boat for a 5 hour cruise to Georgetown including a stop at Baboon Island (lunch and refreshment on-board)
6-As we cruise you have the opportunity to see hippos, chimps and crocodiles and other animals along the river.
7.We finally dock at the end of the day’s journey at Georgetown
DAY 2
8.After breakfast, we visit remains of slave and colonial buildings.
9.After a short tour we drive back home using the Trans-Gambia route in the south bank
10.Lunch served at a local hotel along the way back to your hotels.
