KATSE DAM- One of the most ambitious engineering projects ever undertaken in Africa. With an elegant 185m height, 710m long concrete arch wall and a total surface area of of 38.5 square kilometers, Katse Dam is the second biggest arch dam in Africa. Water from the dam goes through an 82km underground tunnel into Ash River in Clarens, South Africa from where it flows through natural waterways into Vaal Dam. It is also home to one of the only commercial trout fish production company that exports one of the world’s finest trout fish to Japan, South Korea and South Africa. MALETSUNYANE FALLS-One of the tallest single drop waterfall in the word at 192m. The water falls through the rugged mountains of Lesotho, into Maletsunyane gorge. 🇱🇸
