Today, Urban Travel, Shuttles & Tours donated winter blankets to 27 elderly woman and of Pitseng, Ha Khomoatsana, as part of our ongoing commitment to community development and responsible tourism.

Pitseng holds a special place in our hearts, as it is home to the Motseki Community Library & Talent Centre, the library that we support. Our relationship with this community goes beyond business; it is built on a shared vision of improving lives through education, care, and sustainable development.

This winter blanket donation was aimed at bringing warmth, comfort, and dignity to some of the community's most vulnerable members. We are grateful that 27 elders benefited from this initiative.

As a tourism company, we believe that sustainable tourism is about more than moving people from one destination to another. It is about investing in communities, supporting local development, and creating positive social impact where we operate.

Today we witnessed the true meaning of humanity, compassion, and community spirit in the Mountain Kingdom

When an ambulance carrying a patient became stuck in the snow in their way from Mokhotlong, a remarkable act of kindness unfolded. A gentleman from Lifesaver & First Aid Training in Botha Bothe, left to Motseng Pass, where the Ambulance was stuck, together with local shepherds from same Place, stepped forward without hesitation to assist in safely transporting the patient through the challenging conditions, down the pass, which is over 2000+ higher and was filled with snow.

In moments like these, titles, professions, and backgrounds become irrelevant in the Mountain Kingdom. What matters is the willingness to help a fellow human being in need.
Their selfless actions remind us that even in the harshest weather, the warmth of humanity shines brightest.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who played a part in ensuring the patient's safety. May your kindness and courage inspire others and us all to serve our communities with the same spirit.
