📚 In the European Capital of Culture, the first outdoor library opened. In the program's Summer Reading Room, in addition to more than 700 books in a variety of genres, there are also free yoga lessons, events, and educational opportunities.

All summer long, the Kalniečiai Park reading room, which is situated next to the outdoor practice area, will be open. Visit the park and let the culture inspire you!

EXHIBITION OF ARTISTS’ GROUP “KONSORTIUM” “MEMORY / FUTURE” (GERMANY)

Kaunas has a large number of modernist structures. International and intercultural exchanges began here, with architects and artists arriving from Germany, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, and the United States, among others. Over fifty artists from around the world were invited to contribute on a collaborative sculpture dedicated to Kaunas' historical period by a group of artist-curators known as "Konsortium" (Germany).

Artists will offer a temporary exhibition in the historic building of Kaunas Old Town from the end of May to the beginning of July. A "little museum," a three-dimensional map of the city with paintings and sculptures, will be set up near the old presidential house of the Republic of Lithuania.
