🚧 The World’s Only: the traffic-stopping, inner-beast-unleashing FLUXUS Festival is back!
On September 13, Jurgis Mačiūnas Square in Kaunas sets the stage for a truly one-of-a-kind tradition – when one of the city’s busiest streets, Parodos Hill, is closed to traffic and handed over to thousands of costumed climbers.
They make their way uphill however they like – dressed as cepelinai (Lithuania’s iconic potato dumpling), astronauts, storks, or even Sisyphus with his boulder. There are no rules, no winners, and no limits. Just one goal: climb together and celebrate creativity.
📌 Mark your calendars (and plan that weekend trip) – on September 13, Kaunas is the place to be!
What is the FLUXUS Festival, where did it come from, and how can you join in? Find out in the comments.
