The Silk Road was not a single road. It was a vast network of trade routes stretching thousands of kilometers, connecting China with Central Asia, Persia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Along these routes traveled not only silk, spices, and precious stones, but also ideas, religions, technologies, and cultures.

On our journeys, we visit some of the most important cities of this network in Persia and Central Asia, including Isfahan, Yazd, Kashan, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand, where the legacy of the Silk Road is still alive today.

We have slightly updated the itinerary for our September tour to Uzbekistan.

Instead of spending one day in Karakalpakstan (western Uzbekistan), we will take a full-day excursion from Samarkand to the famous Seven Lakes (Haft Kul) in neighboring Tajikistan, located at the foot of the Fann Mountains. We will also visit Panjakent, one of the oldest cities in Tajikistan and an important center of ancient Sogdian civilization.

If you are considering joining the tour, it is worth deciding sooner rather than later. International flight prices are gradually increasing, and seats on the domestic flight from Tashkent to Nukus are disappearing fast.
