Sometimes we recommend museums and art galleries if we find exhibitions interesting or important.
Vytautas Kasiulis Art Museum in Vilnius City Center opened a retrospective exhibition The Worlds of Jurgis Miksevicius. It is the first comprehensive presentation of the artwork by renowned Australian-Lithuanian artist Jurgis Miksevicius (1923–2014) in Lithuania.
On display are the works by the painter gifted to Lithuania by the painter’s family. The exhibition will be on through 28 March, 2025.
If you are planning to visit Vilnius in March - please find time to visit this Museum to get enlightened by the artworks and life story of Christian artist who turned to Buddhist 🙏

Former house of punishment and sorrow now communal art and entertainment center in Vilnius city center, hosting music bands, dance studios, creative offices, pubs, daily tours and various cultural events.

Prison is still very gloomy but very desirable set for movie makers - from Stranger Things to For All Mankind series and many more.

It took some time but last weekend we proclaimed more independence and we will be doing it again when we will change our rail tracks from soviet to European ones.
