✈️ Important Changes Ahead for Business Travelers to the EU

Starting November 10, 2025, the European Union is rolling out new travel systems that will affect all non-EU travelers, including business professionals:

🔹 EES (Entry/Exit System):
Goodbye passport stamps. Travelers will now be registered digitally with facial recognition and fingerprints — valid for 3 years.

🔹 ETIAS Authorization:
Coming soon (expected early 2025), UK and 60+ non-EU nationals will need to apply online before traveling — a process similar to the U.S. ESTA.

🔹 90/180-Day Rule Enforcement:
Be aware: stays in the EU are still limited to 90 days within any 180-day period — and they will be monitored more closely.

🔹 Airport Liquid Rules Back:
From September 1, 2024, stricter controls on hand luggage liquids return. Bottles over 100ml? Not allowed.

🔹 Company Responsibility:
Employers are legally responsible for ensuring their travelers have valid documents, visas (if required), and remain compliant.
