Midsummer magic in the Baltics 🌿

Each year on June 23–24, the Baltic countries light up with traditions, bonfires, and folklore as we celebrate the summer solstice - one of the most captivating times to visit the region!🌙

🇱🇻 Latvia: Locals celebrate Jāņi, lighting bonfires, wearing flower crowns, and singing traditional songs late into the night to honor the summer solstice. It's a night of joy, cheese, beer, and magic herbs!

🇱🇹 Lithuania: During Joninės, locals search for the mythical fern flower, believed to bloom only on this night and bring good fortune. Celebrations include music, dancing, and floating flower wreaths on rivers.

🇪🇪 Estonia: Known as Jaanipäev, Estonians gather with family and friends for countryside festivities, where jumping over bonfires symbolizes the cleansing of bad luck and welcoming a bountiful season.
