Hiking in our first national park on the way - The Aukstaitija NP, Lithuania 🇱🇹 This remote area of pine and mixed forests and more than 120 lakes in the Northeastern part of the country became the first National Park in Lithuania in 1974. It’s famous for its incredible biodiversity and is home to a large number of rare animals and birds including deer, elk, fox, wild boar and golden eagles. 🦅 It’s often referred to as “ a heaven for anyone that loves the outdoors and nature”. Come and explore these three Pearls of the Baltic, each with a long, vibrant history and distinct regional cultures. We will be departing from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, heading north via Riga, the Latvian capital, and ending up in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. During our trip we will stop at the most interesting sights, explore Hanseatic cities, hike in the oldest and largest national parks known for their biological diversity and untouched nature, we will see natural and historical monuments, learn about the history of amber, and enjoy unforgettable and breathtaking sceneries.
