SOUTHERN AFRICAN CHALLENGE 2026:
Z Adventures proudly presents the 3rd edition of the Southern African Challenge.

This exciting “4 Marathons, 4 Countries” adventure will take place from August 1–8, 2026, taking runners, walkers, and adventure enthusiasts on an unforgettable cross-country journey through Southern Africa. Participants will experience a unique combination of running challenges and cultural immersion as they travel across the region. Athletes may choose to participate in one or multiple events while enjoying a fun-filled drive-and-fly adventure between destinations. The professionally managed official races will be held in Malawi, Lesotho, Eswatini, and Mozambique, offering participants the opportunity to run in diverse landscapes while discovering the beauty and culture of each country.

The Southern African Challenge is designed for every kind of runner and walker. Distances range from 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, to the Full Marathon, allowing participants to select the challenge that best suits their goals. Beyond the races, participants will have the chance to explore new destinations, connect with like-minded adventure athletes, and experience the sights, sounds, and cultures of Southern Africa in an unforgettable way.
