🇮🇹🔴 : new night of landings in Lampedusa, 800 in hotspot.
Eight landings, with a total of 386 migrants, starting yesterday evening, in Lampedusa.
The last, in chronological order, small boats, with 51 Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Egyptians and Syrians on board and 49 (2 women and 4 minors) Bangladeshis, Ethiopians, Syrians and Egyptians, were rescued by the patrol boats of the Port Authority and guard finance at half past midnight and at 3.30.
Both boats, according to the refugees who disembarked, set sail from Zouara in Libya. Before them, making a total of 14 landings in the space of 24 hours, 533 migrants had arrived.
At the Imbriacola district hotspot there are currently 798 refugees, including 64 unaccompanied minors. By mid-morning, the Prefecture of Agrigento has arranged for the transfer of 303 guests of the facility who will be embarked on the scheduled ferry to Porto Empedocle.
