Part 7 of the VW T3 restoration is here! 🚐✨
We’re entering the final preparation stages as mastic application begins 🛠️ Every panel is refined, imperfections corrected, and the van’s shape carefully aligned for paint. 🎨
A big milestone in this episode: painting the underside of the van — protecting it from corrosion and marking the transition from prep work to real coating. The transformation is becoming visible now, with straighter panels and sharper lines bringing this classic back to life. 🔧💪

Back in the Moroccan Garage 🇲🇦🚐
VW T3 Restoration – Part 5 is live!
Days 21–28 and the interior finally starts to feel real. After all the sanding, welding, and prep, we take the cabin to the next level: smoothing, mastic prep, fresh interior paint, and then one of the most satisfying moments… reinstalling the flooring and kitchen. 🎨🏡
This is where the van really begins its transformation from a dusty project into a home on wheels. Lots of patience, problem-solving, and those small wins that make restoration so addictive. 💪✨

🚐✨ Part Four of the VW T3 restoration continues here in Aourir, Morocco 🇲🇦!
What started as some simple welding quickly turned into a full interior teardown when we discovered more rust hiding in the van’s floor. That meant pulling out everything inside — kitchen units, flooring, and fittings — to properly assess and fix the damage.
In this episode, it’s still all about welding and rust repair. It’s a slow and messy stage, but every cut and grind is necessary to make sure this T3 ends up solid and done right 🔧🔥

Painting my VW T3 in a small Moroccan garage — and this is where the transformation really starts. Dust, heat, improvised tools, and plenty of learning along the way, but seeing fresh paint go on makes it all worth it. This isn’t a polished workshop job, it’s real van life restoration done on the road.

🚐🇲🇦 Van Restoration in Morocco — Part 2 is Live! 🇲🇦🚐
I’ve just released Part 2 of my full van restoration and repaint project, filmed in Morocco while working out of a small local garage called Garage Dorf in Aourir.
This episode dives into the real foundations of the build — the dirty, time-consuming work that makes everything else possible. Over 8 intense days, a powerful storm rolls in and turns the project into a serious test of patience and problem-solving. Rain, wind, humidity… none of it lets up, but the work continues. ☔️
In Episode 2, you’ll see:

🪵 Sanding back decades of paint and rust
🔍 Discovering hidden damage under the panels
🔥 Welding large holes in the bodywork

I just completed one of the most epic road trips of my life — driving my classic VW T3 all the way from Switzerland to Morocco! Thousands of kilometers, countless landscapes, and one unforgettable ferry crossing from Sète, France to Nador, Morocco later, I finally arrived in Fez, standing outside the Royal Palace and soaking it all in 🇲🇦✨
Along the way, I met Chibeda, an incredible woman riding her motorbike from Europe to Nigeria to raise money for charity 🏍️❤️. Her courage and mission were truly inspiring. If you’d like to support her amazing journey, check out the link in the video description.
This trip reminded me why I love vanlife and road trips: the freedom, the surprises, and the people you meet along the way. Every kilometer tells a story!
