We need the sea because it teaches us.
It teaches us to let go and flow effortlessly.
It teaches us to embrace impermanence and cherish the connection with nature.
It teaches us to not think too much, that no matter what there is always another wave coming.
It teaches us to change constantly, to be able to be still and to be chaos.
It teaches us that the essential in life is this: pure love, pure beauty, pure life. The smell of the salt, the sun and the breeze on the skin not all the objects we fulfill our life with.
Walk barefoot, love deeply, and embrace every moment.
The sea teaches us, if we only take the time to truly observe.

Sometimes we got very frustrated from my surfing and yoga, it’s difficult to accept that it’s a process, that every day is different from one another, your body is different, you are different. But this is also beautiful because it taught you every time a lot of things: patience, acceptance, humility, deep inner listening... Surf and yoga teach to keep going, to be disciplined in your practice (abhyasa), to put your effort in everything you do. Even if the current circumstances of your life make you question how you will ever get to where you want to be, you have to understand that everything you are currently experiencing or have experienced has a purpose. Because this previous step brought you to where you are today, molding you into the person that you are.
But remember: there are still so many moments to experience that will bring you joy and closer to your destiny. More laughs, more surf, more books to read, more people to meet, more risks, more love, more pictures to take, more places to see, more yoga. Once you believe you are worthy of having more, you will realize you have the power within you to bring those things to life.

Work on yourself constantly. Work on your strengths, on your weaknesses. Work on your awareness, on acceptance. Find out who you are and who you want to be. “Everything flows” in life and changes continuously and every slightest change can be an opportunity for evolution and revolution. It is often difficult to accept change but life is never predictable and therefore it makes no sense to close oneself inside automatic patterns, habits. So start creating yourself now. Start where you are, start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling but start. Start and don’t stop. Start where you are with what you have. Start believing in your dreams and in yourself. Just... start.
