The travel trends I’m seeing from client bookings right now 👀✈️

A year after falling in love with Southern India, I returned — this time 10 weeks pregnant — to explore the north of the country

Northern India felt completely different. More chaotic, intense, colourful, spiritual, and confronting all at once. But that’s what made it unforgettable.

❄️ The National Park Nobody Talks About… But Absolutely Should ❄️

Everyone has Yellowstone, Banff or Yosemite on their bucket list… but somehow Kenai Fjords National Park quietly sits in the background being completely spectacular.

Think towering glaciers crashing into the ocean, whales surfacing beside your boat, sea otters floating through icy fjords and mountains that look like they belong in another world.

And then there’s Bear Glacier — a huge, electric-blue glacier surrounded by floating icebergs that honestly doesn’t look real. You can kayak among the ice, cruise past it by boat or just sit there wondering why more people aren’t talking about this place.

This is Alaska at its wildest and most untouched. No huge crowds. No queues for viewpoints. Just dramatic scenery, wildlife everywhere and the kind of landscapes that make you put your phone down for a minute.

Best for long daylight hours, whale watching, puffins and lush green scenery. Temperatures are usually around 10–18°C and you can experience almost endless daylight.

🧊 August
A great balance of wildlife, fewer crowds and beautiful conditions for kayaking around Bear Glacier. You may also start to see autumn colours appearing later in the month.

Outside of summer, much of the park becomes difficult to access due to snow and limited boat operations, so winter visits are more challenging and suited to experienced travellers looking for remote adventure.
