04 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT
DAY 01: Marrakech to Dades Valley
+Departure: Our adventure begins at 8:00 AM when our driver picks you up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech. We’ll be traveling by 4x4 or minivan.
+Route: We’ll drive across the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and charming Berber villages.
+Ouarzazate: Here, we’ll visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah and have lunch.
+Dades Valley: We continue our journey through the picturesque Skoura palmery, arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 02: Dades Valley to Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)
+Morning: After breakfast, we head to Tineghir and then to Todra Gorges to marvel at the canyons and stroll through the palm plantations.
+Afternoon: We’ll drive to Tinjedad for lunch and then continue through Berber villages like Touroug and El-Jarf to Erfoud.
+Merzouga Dunes: Visit a local fossil workshop before heading to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes. Prepare for an hour-and-a-half camel trek at sunset, followed by dinner and a night in a traditional nomad tent.
DAY 03: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
+Sunrise: Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp.
+Morning: Ride camels back for a quick shower. Then, we drive to Rissani to visit monuments and its authentic market.
+Afternoon: We’ll continue to Agdez and the Draa valley junction before crossing the Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate. Here, we’ll have dinner and stay the night.
DAY 04: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
+Morning: After breakfast, we’ll explore Ouarzazate, including the Atlas Film Studios, known as the Hollywood of Africa.
+Ait Benhaddou: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where films like "Gladiator" and "Indiana Jones" were shot. Enjoy a short walk to admire the traditional Kasbah architecture.
+Return to Marrakech: We’ll travel back through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, our driver will drop you off at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech.
