ITINERARY
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at the agreed upon time. Depending if you want a half-day tour or a full-day tour, you will be gone for four or eight hours, respectively.

If your hotel is in the new town and outside the Medina, we can arrange transfer for you.

PRICES
For half a day from 9 am to 1 pm, a private tour costs 100€. For a full day, 150€. These prices are are for 1-4 people. Beyond 4 people, 200 dh has to be added for each additional person.

DAY TRIP TO OURIKA VALLEY

Ourika Valley, located in the High Atlas Mountains, is home to several Berber villages. With a wealth of culture and beautiful landscape, a day trip into Ourika Valley is an ideal escape from Marrakesh , and it is the chance to chase some waterfalls.

ITINERARY
You will be picked up at your hotel around 9:15am. On the way to Ourika Valley, you will stop at a local Argan cooperative where women will showcase some cosmetic products. The next destination is a Berber home where you will have a cup tea with a family living in the area.

After tea, you will drive along the Ourika River to the Berber village of Setti Fatma. If you would like to explore the valley on foot, local hiking guides will help you climb the mountain and take you to the two waterfalls.

During our stay near Setti Fatma, you can choose one of the restaurants along the river and enjoy your lunch.

You will leave Setti Fatma and arrive back to Marrakesh around 5:30pm.

🐪CAMEL RIDE OUTSIDE MARRAKESH

Escape the busy streets of Marrakech and ride a camel through the beautiful Palmeraie oasis. The Palmeraie, a 20-minute-drive outside the city, is home to manicured gardens, orange trees and several hundred thousand palm trees. On the tour, you will see authentic village and see how locals live outside the city center. The tour finishes with a fresh, mint tea in a typical nomadic tent.

🐪ITINERARY

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at 9 :00 or 11:00 for a morning excursion and 14:00 or 16:00 for an afternoon excursion. You will drive 20 minutes to meet the camel handlers and their trusty beasts. The camel ride lasts about an hour, and you will be delivered back to your hotel roughly 3-4 hours after you were picked up.

3 DAYS MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

🐪DAY 1: MARRAKESH – BOUMALNE DADES

You will be collected from your hotel at 7:30 am and will drive through the High Atlas Mountains ( Tizin’t tichka ) where you’ll have a short break.

The next stop will be at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, located at 30 km from Ouarzazate. This castle is made of mud and surrounded by a defensive fence and towers. It is a perfect model of a traditional Moroccan house in the south. The Kasbah was recorded as World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1987 and attracts people from all over the world. It has even made appearance on the silver screen with Gladiator, The Mummy, and Lawrence of Arabia.

You will then continue through Ouarzazate, onto the Valley of Roses (Kalaat Mgouna) where you will have another stop. for picture before going to Boumalne Dades where you will spend your first night. You will arrive around 6:00 pm.

🐪DAY 2: BOUMALNE DADES – MERZOUGA

Our journey will start with a drive through Dades Gorges and the famous Toudgha Gorges. After some time for pictures of cliffs and lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue to Rissani, known for its dates market, and being a starting point of the ancient trading caravans crossing the Sahara desert to Tomboctou.

Upon arrival at Merzouga, we will meet our camel caravan, and ride through the amazing sand dunes of ‘Erg Chebbi’ with the sunset in the horizon.

We reach our camp in three options :

Basic one, localited next to the village with toilet outside.
Medium one, in the middle of the dunes, also with toilet outside and shower in the next morning in the hotel.
Luxury one, in the middle of the dunes with toilet and shower inside the tent.
A great view to admire the sand dunes and the surrounding landscapes, get ready for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to the camp fire and a live local music show.

🐪DAY 3: MERZOUGA – MARRAKESH

Wake up early to catch the sunrise in the desert. You will ride a camel back to our hotel next the village where you’ll take your breakfast. and after continue back to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirte and the museum of cinema, before arriving in your hotel in Marrakesh around 7:30 pm.
