We like to offer off the beaten path days and meeting with locals, dining in peoples homes and going deep into the Amazigh culture. Desert trips can be a night in a luxury or

standard static camp or a few days wild camping with a camel support team. Fossil hunting and archaeological trips are possible too for small groups. If you are looking for something a bit different to the standard itineraries available, we will offer suggestions, book all your accommodations; usually in riads, hotels, guesthouses etc typical of the area we are visiting. Book your private transport with a driver. Book an English speaking guide if you wish to enhance your experience with their wonderful knowledge, wit and caring nature. We do recommend having a guide if you can include it in your budget. Meals; we include breakfasts, dinners in some accommodations and lunches also can be included. We find the more remote places seem to offer better meal options than the regular tourist stops. We can let them know in advance for vegetarians, vegans, etc. We work with local families in the mountains and in the desert region near Mhamid Ghizlane which enables us to offer some amazing authentic experiences for our clients. We am also known for encouraging people to go out of their normal comfort zones, to grow and to support when it all gets a bit emotional; time spent in the desert is almost always transformational and can be challenging for many people... usually in a good way! Wild camping is something we can arrange in the desert if you would like to trek deep in this wonderful landscape. Whatever you have in mind, get in touch... you can WhatsApp me on the numbers above. Sustainable Community Projects are at the heart of our ideals as we work very closely with rural indigenous Amazigh people both in the Sahara and especially the High Atlas Mountains. One of our goals is to find ways to give help where we can, to encourage our clients to engage in responsible tourism, buying sapling trees, water projects, schools, local association initiatives and more. Student groups are also welcome and we can organise cross-cultural activities with rural schools and associations.

We are just a bit excited! Rachid is buying sapling trees this week! It is very possible that they will be planted in a village close to the epicentre of the Earthquake in the Ijoukak region. Thanks to all the wonderful people who donated to the gofund.me campaign and made this possible.

Until man can learn to respect and speak to the animal and plant world, humankind can never know their true role on Earth.
We are all tasked with being guardians of nature, of the woods, beaches and wild places.
Teach your children that trees have arms too, that bees are vital to our existence, plants harvest sunlight which in turn nourishes our bodies.
Teach them to be mindful how they treat the places they call their playgrounds to leave no trace.
Gift the gift of a native tree.
Plant a tree.
Keep rubbish out of your woods and beaches.
Forage with care and only take what you need.
Leave hedgerows undisturbed.
Be mindful of what you buy and throw away because there is no away, it's all still on Earth.
There so are many ways to take care of this home we share.

An update from my dearest friend Alice on the current situation in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco 10 weeks on from a catastrophic earthquake.
While we all sit in our homes with a fire lighting, a bathroom and other facilities close by... think of the thousands here facing into a bitter winter still living in tents.
My focus now is on raising funds to help rebuild the fruit and nut orchards that bring vital income to communities. Almost 900€ so far in my gofundme and with prices starting from 3€ per sapling your donations however small can make a huge difference. So please, this giving season give the gift of hope.

October Update.
I am watching closely what is happening on the ground. The main concern at this time is getting shelter against the coming seasonal rains and snow. Building has started and as women don't yet have homes to manage, they are also helping in the mammoth task of rebuilding.
As I have lived in these villages, I know the seasons, the cycles of life and nature. This is a critical time for them as more lives will surely be lost in the coming winter.
I am also looking forwards. Most of these villages would have fruit and nut orchards which often grow in small plots close to houses, these will have also been destroyed along with much of the livestock. This is a huge part of local income. In early spring sapling trees will need to be planted to restart this vital life line. Animals will be needed. One or two cows provides income for a family, usually only a handful of cows can be afforded in each village. Small flocks of sheep and large flocks of goats are more popular in these mountains. Chicken and Roosters are a common sight. Donkeys and mules are essential for work and transport.
I urge you to donate to wards purchasing these sapling trees and animals to breathe life back into the villages. Just a few euros will purchase trees which sustain lives for generations to come. Every cent is going to make a difference. A handful of chicks can cost as little as €5. If you can afford to, Sponsor a cow or a donkey or club together with friends and sponsor a Mule.
I know there are many disasters worldwide pulling at your purse strings, but this one was unprecedented as it was a shallow earthquake and therefore spread some 500km affecting 7000 villages. I urge you to help if you can. Thank you. Any questions.. you can connect with me on Facebook etc.
