Mor'hara is owner operated principally by Hassan Lgouchi and additional business partner, Liz Coulter. The Kasbah Quarter Marrakech

Used to be a lesser known working area of Marrakech and fully inhabited by Moroccans but now very much on the visitor map.

Old family riads and dars being developed into accommodations for visitors at an alarming rate which is changing the area and dividing opinion

However despite the challenges it poses for locals it is still a favourite quarter of ours to spend time in.

As cities in Morocco become increasingly more affluent and influenced by international and European culture it is easy to forget you are in North Africa.

It is culturally appropriate and important to be reminded where you are in this world and Anima gardens do just that.

On route to the village of Setti Fatima, through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains located within the Ourika Valley there is so much on route that will turn your head !

The journey is as interesting and unique as the destination.
