Moroccan street food is definitely full of surprises and not for the faint of heart! 😅 I tried a spice paste that tasted like mashed gingerbread and washed it down with a ginger tea that burned exactly like Fireball whiskey. Between the painfully spicy tea and the pure chaotic energy of the night market, it’s an experience I won’t forget anytime soon.

Hiking the High Atlas Mountains, and it turns out my Hakimi jersey was the ticket to get past the local police checkpoint ⛰️⚽ I explored a village and found the craziest wall of geodes and fossils, but had to pass since my backpack is already overflowing.

The Reality of Baghdad at 10 PM 🌃
Growing up in the US, we’re often fed a very specific, limited narrative about places like Iraq. 🇮🇶 Walking around a cosmopolitan shopping mall at 10 PM, surrounded by women, kids, and families just living their normal lives, is a stark contrast to what many expect. It’s incredibly safe, vibrant, and full of life. Sometimes you just have to see a place for yourself to break down those misconceptions! 🌍✨

Late Night Eats in Baghdad 🇮🇶🍲
10 PM at the local “bean bar” and I’m making friends left and right! Tried this incredible, hot bean dish topped with straight lemon juice—honestly the most nutritious late-night street food I’ve ever had.
