TREKKING IN SOUTHERN DESERT MARRAKECH - M'HAMID: 8 days and 5 nights in the desert

Arrival in Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be greeted at the airport to take you to your riad in the medina.
Your 1 st evening happen outside in the atmosphere of the medina and the famous Jemaa El Fna square. You will have dinner at a popular restaurant in the square. After discovering that evening, you return to the riad to spend your 1st night.

DAY 1:
- - Breakfast at the riad and departure for M'hamid 4x4 transport or mini bus. from the Jemaa El Fna square in Marrakech ..7: 00.H .. Arrival in M'hamid at 17: 00h .. You will go through a long road and the splendid valleys, go through the Tichka Pass, the mountains atlas 2260m altitude through the Draa Valley and its thousand and one thousand kasbah, you will make the lunch break to ouarzazat, and continue skirting a grove of over 200 km. Passage through Agdaz,
- After a long and beautiful road you arrive in M'Hamid, where you will be accompanied to the bivouac to spend your 1 st night to the desert, followed by a meal under the stars and Berber music around the fire.


2 nd DAY:

- In the morning, breakfast and departure from the bivouac at 8:00, you start your trekking and walk for 2H to the palm grove in the shade of palm trees and calm you make the lunch break. After lunch you continue your walk for 2H to reach Sidi naji or you dinner and spend your 2 nd night in your tent.


3 rd DAY:

- After breakfast, you pick your path and continue walking in this beautiful landscape to the rhythm of dromedaries. You make the lunch break under the tamarisk and then you leave for 2 hours to large dunes Ezahar, You are free to enjoy this magnificent view, to climb the dune, take pictures, and watch the sunset. Evening and dinner and 3 rd night in the dunes.

4th DAY:

- After sunrise and breakfast you resume the path and walk for about 2 hours to reach Erg smar is an old abandoned village which over time has silted up, you will make your lunch break there.
- You then continue juqu'aux small dunes kriaat jmel or you will spend your evening and the 3rd night in the desert.


5 th DAY:
- Departure after breakfast to the dunes of Lbour, or you enjoy a lunch break to rest and regain strength. You will continue your walk to the next bivouac at Erg Bertam, always surrounded by dunes and the beautiful atmosphere of the desert. 4th night.





6 th DAY:

- After breakfast you leave the Bertam dunes to walk to Mzouaria, in the shade of tamarisk take you to the lunch break. You resume your walk for about 2 hours to reach M'hamid to the campsite where you will spend your 5th and last night in M'hamid.


7th DAY:

- After breakfast, Departure at 7:00 in 4/4 or mini bus to Marrakech, visit artisanal pottery Tamegroute and continue the road to ouarzazat to pause at noon, to admire the beautiful kasbah Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO heritage listed.
- Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon to join your riad.



8 th DAY:

- If time allows (depending on your return and schedules of your plane) you can make a small tour of Marrakech accompanied. center with its old town (Medina), the souks of Marrakech, the famous Jamaa El Fna and entertainment day and night, these famous historical monuments: La Menara, palace bahia, Majorelle Garden, Koutoubia



- The Majorelle Garden: A beautiful botanical garden where lived Yves St Laurent. A beautiful tour not to be missed, it is a haven of colorful peace.

- The Koutoubia: This is the largest and oldest mosque in the 12th century. This magnificent minaret of 77 meters high overlooking the Red City.

- The Bahia Palace: A very old house that was built in the late 19th century, the palace consists of several parts with ornaments with magnificent ceilings.

La 18ª Edición del FESTIVAL DE MUSICA GNAOUA DE ESSAOUIRA, se llevará a cabo este año 2015 entre el 14 y el 17 mayo. Por lo general, el festival se llevaba a cabo durante la última semana de junio. Este año los organizadores han decidido avanzar a Mayo este evento para que no coincida con el mes sagrado del Ramadán.

Uno de los eventos más importantes del país, es el Festival de música gnawa de Essaouira, con masiva participación de músicos internacionales. Se celebra en la última semana de junio, dura unos tres días y la entrada es libre. Este evento centra en cientos de artistas y podemos encontrar una gran mezcla de diferentes estilos musicales.No no puedes perdértela!

Día 14 de Mayo: Marrakech - Essaouira

Salida a las 9 de Marrakech. Transferencia a Essaouira, la perla del Atlántico.
En la tarde de los conciertos del Festival comenzar.
Noche en un riad en la ciudad.

Día 15 de Mayo: Essaouira - Essaouira
Por la mañana visita de la medina de la ciudad y visitar el puerto de pesca.
Por la noche disfrutar de los conciertos.

Día 16 de Mayo: Essaouira - Essaouira
Por la mañana excursión a la playa de Sidi Kouki, con almuerzo incluido.

Day 1 : Merzouga – Tisardmen –Fosiles – Nomad familly - Merzouga:

Today we will drive across the big and high dunes in southeast Morocco - Erg Chebbi Merzouga dunes we will discover the deep desert Sahara to oasis of Tsardmine and oasis of Azrkam , and Saf Saf. We will have picknic and then we drive back to Merzouga in evening and dinner to sleep in local hotel or riad near dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga -Mifis - Hugar mountain Bgaa-dunes of Znigi -Merzouga:

After breakfast and shower we will drive around 10 - 15 km dunes and we get to the mins of mifis where worked the French people before the independente. We will drive in desert Sahara to get to hugar mountain and we will have lunch with Berber family in village. Then we drive back to Merzouga and after whole day of tour driving we spend a night and have dinner in lcoal hotel or riad.

Day 3: Merzouga – dunes of Merzouga Erg Chebbi – way of paris Dakar – Merzouga:

After your brackfast and schower well starte in the dunes crust 50 km middle of the big dunes and drive in sume way as paris Dakar crossing befor get to nomad family in desert have té and lunch in auberge and then going again in dunes get to Merzouga in evening and end of aour service.

Marhaba! I am Hassan and I would love to show you all the beauty of my home, the desert!

Born in a big Berber Family in the middle of the south moroccan desert, I have spend my early

childhood as a nomad travelling around the southern desert. Merzouga and the dunes of Erg Chebbi

is what I call home. Do you want to explore it with me?

I have several years of experience as a camel- as well as a 4x4- and Motobike driver. I would love to

explore my country with you on a private tour and tell you some stories about the life of the nomad

people in the desert. Apart from Berber and Arabic, I speak Spanish, French and English.

Our Services

Southern Morocco with its beautiful, varied landscapes doesn’t fail to impress tourists from all over

the world again and again. The drive from bustling Marrakech over the Atlas Mountains to the desert

is lined with traditional villages and kasbahs as well as a overwhelming nature. Meet the friendly

people along the way, drink as much „Berber Whiskey“ (mint tea) as you can handle and savor the

delicious moroccan food along your journey. Imagine yourself on the back of a friendly camel,

walking slowly into the sunset, at the top of the golden sand dunes, looking at the splendid stars and

getting up early to catch the first light of the sun.
