Have you ever considered this amazing destination for a French or Spanish school trip?

I'm so honoured to have been invited by Discover the World Education- Languages on a discovery trip to Morocco next week, to experience their brand-new MFL immersion programme!

Throughout the week I'll be experiencing their curriculum-linked activities first-hand — the same ones designed for GCSE students, with authentic immersion, real cultural experiences and clear links to the MFL spec.

I'm particularly excited about visiting some language schools, indulging my inner history nerd in Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis and Fes, not to mention discovering all sorts of incredible Moroccan culture and food 😋 And last but definitely not least, I can't wait to see the stunning sights of Chefchaouen (in this picture) - a definite bucket-list destination!

I'll be sharing lots of photos and videos in my stories every day while I'm there, so keep an eye out for those 👀

In honour of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival this week, here our are favourite school trip activities that show students the magic of French cinema:

🎞️Cine Club
At your language school, watch a French film tailored to your group. Your students will be given context before watching and discuss what they learned afterwards.

🎞️A Look Behind the Screen
Stroll through the filming locations of Demain Nous Appartient. Follow in the footsteps of the soap opera along the quays of Sète with a French guided tour.

🎞️Cannes Guided Tour
During a guided French tour, you'll visit the Palais des Festivals, stroll the Boulevard de la Croisette, and uncover film heritage at the Path of the Stars.
