Taking kids into the desert needs some consideration. They overheat faster than adults, are interested in different things and might only want to play in the sand all day. Not all of our desert hikes are suitable for all children. We have a pretty in depth blog post about the topic on our blog on the website and also a few reviews from families with kids on our Google profile.

I always count myself lucky when I see a snake in the desert. It is very rare and they usually disappear faster than you can pull out your phone. Same for scorpions really.
So even though it's our most asked question, we can assure you, you are not in danger on our desert hikes and camel treks.
Would you be scared or excited to see a snake in the wild?
