For a three day trip from Fes to Marrakech across the Sahara, you'll start in Fes, perhaps exploring the old city in the morning. Then head south into the desert, stopping in Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," and then Azrou, with its cedar forests and monkeys. The next day, you'll travel to Merzouga, where you'll begin a camel trek to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying the starry skies.
