3-Day Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech*
*๐๏ธDay 1: Marrakech โ Atlas Mountains โ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah โ Ouarzazate โ Dades Valley*

Your 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert starts with a morning pick-up from your hotel or riad at around 8:00 AM. You will travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi NโTichka pass, which rises 2,260 meters above sea level. As you wind through the mountains, you will pass traditional Berber villages and see shepherds tending their flocks amidst snow-capped peaks. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause, take photos, and enjoy a coffee break.
By midday, you will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a historic village that has served as the setting for films like Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones. After a guided tour of this remarkable site, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, known as the โHollywood of Africaโ and home to the continentโs largest film studios. You can choose to explore the famous Atlas Studios or proceed with the tour.
From there, you will travel through the picturesque Valley of Roses and the town of Kalaat Mgouna before reaching your hotel in Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
*๐๏ธDay 2: Dades Valley โ Todra Canyon โ Merzouga*

On the second day of your 3 day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, you will embark on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, where you will have the chance to admire the panoramic views of the Dades Gorges. The unique rock formations, famously known as โMonkey Fingers,โ are a highlight of this area.
Continuing the journey, you will reach the lush Tinghir Oasis, where the stunning views will accompany you as you travel. A peaceful walk through the towering cliffs of the Todra Canyon, one of Moroccoโs most breathtaking natural wonders, is next on the itinerary.
Afterward, you will make your way to the Merzouga desert, where a camel caravan will be waiting to guide you on an enchanting sunset ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. This magical experience leads you to your desert camp.
As the night sets in, you will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner at the camp, followed by an evening of drumming and singing around a campfire under the sparkling Sahara sky. The day ends with a memorable overnight stay in your Sahara desert camp.
*๐๏ธDay 3: Merzouga โ Draa Valley โ Anti Atlas Mountains โ Marrakech*

To fully enjoy your desert experience, we recommend starting the day early to watch the serene sunrise from your desert camp. After a hearty breakfast, you have the option to return to Merzouga by camel or in a 4ร4 vehicle.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will reconnect with your driver/guide and begin the scenic journey back to Marrakech. The route will take you through the picturesque Draa Valley and over the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains, leading to Ouarzazate.
Along the way, there will be some stops to take in panoramic views and enjoy a leisurely lunch. You will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel or riad.
