Day 20
✅️ Casablanca
After breakfast, the group went for a tour of one of Casablanca's oldest wet market. Freshly caught seafood were seen, crabs, lobsters, shrimps, squid, oysters, urchins and many, many more varieties of fish.

Then we continued on walking to the old part of the city.....visited the historical Excelsior hotel and the Bab Marrakech market.

We then proceeded to the grand mosque, the landmark of Casablanca. Built on the reclaimed land by the Atlantic Ocean, this grand mosque has the 2nd tallest minaret in the world. The architecture was superb 👌....most of all, the mosque was built through donations from each Moroccan citizen. It can accommodate up to 150,000 people during prayer time especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

After the visit to the grand mosque, we proceeded to the corniche of Casablanca and ended the tour with a visit to the lighthouse.

Day 19
✅️ Essaouira to OPC mission
This is the day everyone in the group has been waiting for. This is also the day, the very reason why we are all in this trip. All what we have visited from Day 1 until today were a bonus.....but this day was a big and very important day.

Day 18
✅️ Agadir to Essaouira
After breakfast, the group bid farewell to the stunning Rofaidah Apart’hotel and embarked on a scenic drive along the Northwest coastal road by the Atlantic Ocean. The winding road revealed spectacular vistas at every turn of the long and winding road.

Along the way, we saw a shepherd tending to goats perched atop Argan trees, a testament to the "goats on trees" phenomenon, "it's true, it's true"! exclaimed our group seeing this for the first time 😊.

We passed by an Argan coop before entering the beautiful city of Essaouira, a city known as the "windy city of Morocco". Built by Phoenicians around 7th century as a trading post and called it Mogador, meaning "small fortress". In the late 18th century, Sultan Mohammed III recaptured the city and rebuilt it as Essaouira.

We checked in at the historic Riad Al Madina, a century old Moroccan house turned hotel in the heart of Essaouira.

Followed by a scrumptious seafood meal, "from the sea to the table", as locals say.

We then toured the UNESCO Historic site Portuguese built fort with canons still in their very spot to this day. Also visited the fishing boats, artists alley and its historic part of the medina. Ended the day with chef prepared 3 course meal.

Day 17
✅️ Agadir - boat cruise
After breakfast, the group embarked on a private boat cruise from the stunning marina in Agadir, embracing the thrill of exploring the Atlantic Ocean. As we cruised along the bustling waters, we were struck by the array of boats scattered across the horizon.

Upon reaching our destination, we indulged in an exhilarating fishing experience 🎣! While fishing, the boat's crew expertly prepared our lunch. Some of us caught baby fishes 🐟, which we gently released back into the ocean, savoring the joy of the moment.

The calm sea and perfect weather created an unforgettable atmosphere. We're grateful for the safe journey, ideal weather, and cherished moments!

Thank you Lord for the lifelong memories created 🙏 💖

Day 15
✅️ Tenerife - the group enjoyed a rejuvenating day! After breakfast, some explored the local shops, others soaked up the sun, and a few visited the stunning black sand beach.....as for me, I joined a rooftop yoga class with a few!

After yoga, I shared a leisurely walk with my sister, Amy, and her group from Winnipeg, creating unforgettable bonding moments . I'm grateful for the safe and enjoyable time in Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain - a truly empowering experience. These moments will stay and cherish forever .

Day 14
✅️ Loro Parque - where it houses an extensive and diverse reserve of animal and plant species. An "Animal Embassy" with a strong focus on animal welfare, conservation, and environmental education. It aims to provide a modern, responsible zoo experience that contributes to the protection of endangered species and their habitats through the work of the Loro Parque Fundación, which has saved species from extinction and supports numerous global conservation projects

The group explored the park today. Watched all the animal shows:

✅️ Tenerife, Canary Island - Embarking on a thrilling island adventure......the group is free to explore and discover the island's hidden gems, with the weather setting the perfect tone.

Day 12
✅️ Hammam day in Agadir - want to feel like as special as a Princess or a Queen? Then experience the Moroccan hammam. Unusual but also very special. The group enjoyed being pampered today!

After the hammam, we toured the city of Agadir. First, visited the oldest mosques, Mohamed V, damaged by earthquake in the early 60's but rebuilt as a symbol of resilience and tenacity of the people of Agadir.

Visited the Kasbah of Agadir "Oufella", the heart of the dynasties era 16 to 19 centuries. The very first community built in Agadir but destroyed by the earthquake. The new city was built and developed in the lowland. Now the Kasbah is a very famous viewpoint overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Agadir.

After the city tour, we proceeded to our lunch at Petit Pecheur in Immouadar, nestled by the ocean, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a scrumptious seafood meal.

Went back to the our hotel to get ready for our evening flight to Tenerife, Canary Island in Spain.

Day 10 and 11
✅️ Marrakech to Agadir - after the tour in Bahia Palace, we drove towards Agadir, my favorite city of all in Morocco. It was a swift drive through autoroute.

✅️ Went directly to Aourir to have our lunch then we checked in at Rofaidah Apart’hotel. The rest of the afternoon was a free/rest time for the group.

However, for me, it was the only time to visit my family here in this beautiful city.

Day 11 - was a full day of shopping at Souk Al Ahad...what a beautiful experience!

💖 After the Souk, we organized the school supplies for the outreach mission

✅️ Followed by group dinner - a way to express our sincerest THANKS for helping/volunteering.
