We’re honored to partner with the to lead a private, small-group journey across northern Morocco, connecting with cities and rural communities to celebrate heritage, culture, and shared responsibility.
Morocco is a Muslim country and home to one of the oldest and richest Jewish communities in the world. For over 2,000 years, Jewish life has shaped Moroccan cities and rural areas alike, leaving a lasting legacy in architecture, food, music, and daily life. From Casablanca to Fes, and beyond into villages and artisan communities, you will explore living history guided by local historians, artisans, and community leaders.

This journey supports women-led cooperatives, community initiatives, and environmental projects, while offering immersive experiences through restored synagogues, artisan workshops, shared meals with local families, folklore evenings, traditional hammam rituals, and stays in locally owned accommodations.

This trip is private, and access is limited. Comment, send us a message to request the access code, or email us at [email protected] and we’ll provide access to explore the details and answer any questions you may have.

Coelle Travel is a proudly immigrant-owned business contributing to Maine’s economy, culture, and community every day. Immigrants start businesses at higher rates than the general population and are responsible for more than a quarter of all new businesses nationwide. In Maine, immigrant-owned enterprises generate jobs, sustain communities, and bring innovation that strengthens the state’s economy and workforce.

Immigrants also bring culture, creativity, and vitality. Through arts, music, cuisine, language, and traditions, we enrich communities, create connection, and inspire curiosity. These contributions nurture communities and make Maine stronger, more vibrant, and more alive.

This land has a history and presence that predates all of us. Unless you are Indigenous, we are all guests. We honor the Wabanaki people, whose homeland we live and work on, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership, guidance, and the generosity with which they have welcomed us. We recognize and value their ongoing contributions to sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, and the protection of Maine’s extraordinary biodiversity. We carry our responsibility on this land with respect, humility, and a commitment to support their communities today and into the future.

In recent weeks, the Portland and broader Maine community demonstrated remarkable solidarity. Businesses opened their doors to support others, and some closed in solidarity. Neighbors stepped up for one another, and countless individuals contributed time, resources, and care. This response has reaffirmed why we choose Maine. Its people and its communities are what make this place home.

As immigrant entrepreneurs, we strengthen the economy, deepen culture, and foster meaningful community connections. We remain dedicated to sustainable tourism, supporting our local initiatives through Vacationland with Purpose, and continuing our work globally to connect communities, preserve culture, and create opportunities. To our neighbors, partners, and allies who have shown support and care, thank you. Together, we help Maine thrive economically, culturally, and socially every day.

With love,
Khadija

You may know that is home to here in Portland, ME 💛
More than a space, a community of change makers and healers, rooted in collaboration, care, and collective support.

Good Medicine doctors and practitioners are stepping forward to support and provide medical services to immigrants navigating the green card process work that is especially urgent right now and, for many of our neighbors, a matter of safety.

We are hosting an intimate community dinner to raise funds in support of this initiative.

Happy Amazigh New Year!

Yennayer, the Amazigh New Year, marks the beginning of the Amazigh calendar, 2976 this year, and is a meaningful celebration for the Indigenous peoples of North Africa.

It’s a time for families and communities to gather and celebrate the land and its abundance. Traditionally, this includes sharing meals like Tagula or couscous with seven vegetables, dishes that honors the earth, the harvest, and hopes for prosperity in the year ahead. The celebration is filled with storytelling, music, and rituals rooted in gratitude for nature and ancestral traditions.

If you have ever wondered who is behind the branding and visual identity of it’s the wonderful Asma!

Asma is an artist and graphic designer who approaches design as a way to tell meaningful stories rooted in purpose and connection.

“When I joined Coelle Travel’s movement of , my intention was not simply to create a visual brand, but to shape a feeling grounded in authenticity, care, and human connection.

Working and traveling with Coelle Travel became an essential part of that journey. I met locals, shared meaningful moments, and experienced how travel can truly support communities rather than simply pass through them. These experiences changed the way I see the world and reaffirmed something I have always believed as an artist: creation is not only about what we see, but about what we feel and how it resonates.

Community based tourism matters deeply to me because it gives something back. It builds understanding, supports local lives, and connects travelers to something genuine. Through my work, I aim to translate these values into visual stories that carry intention, emotion, and purpose behind every journey.” 💛
