I am Rabab, a licensed tour guide in Tangier - Morocco 🇲🇦 and some of the best parts of my tours are the conversations that happen along the way.

Recently, I organized and conducted a tour of Tangier for a amazing group of friends from the U.S., around my age, and our chat took a wonderfully nostalgic turn. We realized we were all Millennials — that unique generation who remembers life before smartphones… but also embraced the digital world as it unfolded.

We laughed about slow internet, MSN Messenger, downloading songs for hours, burning CDs, and the excitement of discovering music on early YouTube. It felt like reliving a precious chapter of our lives — one that shaped who we are.

Moments like these remind me how much I love what I do. Sharing Moroccan culture is beautiful — but sharing real conversations that make us feel seen, connected, and nostalgic? That’s the real magic. 💛✨

🔶 Did my post make you nostalgic? 😃

✨ Today, we wrapped up our culinary tour at a hidden gem in Tangier — a charming cultural café called Tangier Moments.
There, we enjoyed a lovely break with fresh mint tea and Fekkas, the classic Moroccan cookies.

The space is run by the kind and welcoming , who always makes guests feel at home.

Thank you to my wonderful guests for choosing my tour — I truly enjoyed sharing these flavors and stories with you.
Hope to see you again soon!

Four nationalities in one picture 😃

Originally from different European and Asian countries, my guests are now studying politics in Toulouse university.

This was just a short trip of two nights to visit the north of Morocco, and I was happy to lead their tour of Tangier 🤍
