The team has been organising Dibang Winter fest for the last two years. This year marks an important year for the team as it will bring new developments which include our tribal Culture, sustainable fest, Music and Adventure.
The campsite is beautiful. There will be village touring, camping, hiking, cycling and Rafting.
Interested can go emuli grassland to hike. Obviously you can’t reach the camp as it is 3000ft elevation climb. Our team will be on the summit organizing the last trek of the year.

In the centre of Anini town there is a Panchayat Rural Market where one can get Traditional Idu Attaire as well as simple beads as souvenir. One can just go there to checkout about clothings after the trek.

Mr Matin Eko and Miss Kholie Nanu are the two new interns from IITTM Noida (Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management) India’s Top premier Institute for tourism.

They are our first Interns who applied for internship after we got a call from a Professor of IITTM. They have Shown extreme positive enthusiasm to learn how we as an organisation organize treks, team building and how we execute in field. And what we plan for the future. They will work together with our senior trek leaders, junior trek leaders, Ground staff and also event coordinator for 2 months then be certified by Emudu trekkers - Anini Senior trek leaders.
It gives us a sense of high pride for our team Sajan Mipi Manish Milli Kanki Miri Noven Rondo Novenrondo Ajadi Rondoto be recognized by India’s top Tourism institutions.

Being a Government Official it has been a massive challenge to organize treks in Dibang Valley as well as plan for Districts Urban Development.
Sometimes it just goes beyond stress limit. But when I reach the Mountains I’m just myself. Nothing but myself!!!!
Love that feeling where there is no cellphone network. No office works 😅 and no one to bug me, which I feel is precious but before I die I won’t remember going office that’s for sure😅. It is like school. I don’t remember siting in classes but remember how much I enjoyed going jungle and making tree houses.
But anyways right now I’m in Town preparing reports and getting ready for State level meeting. And I have to tell you something- “you are exactly where you are supposed to be to be, things will go extremely bad but always remember to tackle it and not run from it”

My Support to adv .mili
He is a Friend who always stands and fight for what is right. While we are trying to save mountains and rivers, the State government along with big hydropower companies are trying to set up dams in our state.
Imagine 16 dams alone in Dibang Valley. Government has stopped listening to people’s voices and have decided to Crush any voices that are against their agenda. I always try to educate People from dibang Valley that we are selling our land to hydropower who right now are acting as Good angels but are only for themselves. While I also educate them that they are nearing their own end due to Greed. We already have mountains and rivers which will give us enough money through tourism if we preserve it. But it doesn’t work. Ebo Mili shall be remembered in the future when we tribals will lose all our land to multinational companies. Our grand children will one pay homage to him. He is fighting for a cause that is bigger than government and multinational corporations- He is fighting for Arunachal’s children and grandchildren.

.foodie “THE Chappal Summiteer Dare Devil”

Day-2&3 Bata Chappal
So one day he calls me up and tells me he is tall guy and asks if he will get gumboots in Anini. I told him yeah obviously he will get it in Anini. But after reaching anini he found that he was too tall (more than 6ft) to find gumboots for his size. Anyways he gets one tight gumboot. He starts 7 lake summit only to find that gumboots were too tight. So he took off his gumboots and trekked from 6200ft to 9000ft on barefoot.
Day 2 he wore his chappal and started from 9000ft to 11000ft. Day 3 11000ft to 12200ft 9 hour trek on Chappal.
Then at from Day 4 he wore Gumboots though it was tight.

Man He is something 🙌 We had good drinks and talks in Roing.
More Adventure to you bro 😇 I wish you lots of Summit in. Bata Chappal 😅
