🌄❤️ Smješteno među livadama Durmitora, Vražje jezero jedno je od najmisterioznijih ledničkih jezera Crne Gore — mjesto gdje se spajaju plava voda, folklor, srednjovjekovni stećci i planinski pogledi. 🇲🇪✨

Smješteno na Jezerskoj visoravni kod Žabljaka, djeluje mirno i gotovo zaboravljeno od vremena. Okružuju ga pašnjaci, divlje cvijeće, životinje na ispaši i vrhovi Durmitora. 🌊⛰️🌿

🌊 Ledničko planinsko jezero

Vražje jezero nalazi se na približno 1.411 metara nadmorske visine. Nastalo je djelovanjem drevnih lednika, prostire se na oko 3,5 hektara i dostiže dubinu od približno 11 metara.

Za razliku od mnogih jezera skrivenih u šumama, ono leži u otvorenom pejzažu. Voda mijenja boju od tirkizne do tamnoplave, a ispod olujnih oblaka može djelovati gotovo crno. Zimi jezero često zaledi. ❄️💧

🐎 Legenda o krilatom konju

Prema narodnom predanju, u jezeru je živio tajanstveni krilati konj crvene dlake. Tokom zvjezdanih noći izlazio bi iz vode i lutao okolnim pašnjacima.

Legenda ga povezuje sa Jabučilom, čuvenim krilatim konjem vojvode Momčila, junaka južnoslovenske epske poezije. Navodno su letjeli između tvrđave Pirlitor i Durmitora. Ova legenda, tamna voda i usamljeni položaj doprinijeli su misterioznom imenu jezera. 🐎✨

🗿 Srednjovjekovni stećci – Grčko groblje

U blizini Vražjeg, na oko 200 metara od Ribljeg jezera, nalazi se Grčko groblje — srednjovjekovna nekropola sa 49 monumentalnih stećaka.

Nastali uglavnom tokom 14. i prve polovine 15. vijeka, imaju oblik ploča, sanduka i kuća sa dvovodnim krovovima. Mnogi su ukrašeni arkadama, vinovom lozom, spiralama i drugim simbolima.

Iako naziv znači „grčko groblje“, ne radi se o antičkom grčkom groblju. Takva imena davana su starim grobljima čije je porijeklo bilo zaboravljeno. Zajedno sa nekropolom Bare Žugića, lokalitet pripada međunarodno zaštićenom nasljeđu srednjovjekovnih stećaka. 🏔️📜

Located on the Jezerska Plateau near Žabljak, the lake feels peaceful and untouched by time. Grasslands, wildflowers, grazing animals, and the peaks of Durmitor surround its open shores. 🌊⛰️🌿

🌊 A Glacial Mountain Lake

Vražje Jezero — meaning “Devil’s Lake” — lies at approximately 1,411 metres above sea level. Formed by ancient glaciers, it covers around 3.5 hectares and reaches a depth of approximately 11 metres.

Unlike many forested Durmitor lakes, it lies in a completely open landscape. Its water changes from turquoise near the shore to deep blue in the centre and appears almost black beneath storm clouds. In winter, the lake often freezes. ❄️💧

🐎 Folklore & the Winged Horse

According to local folklore, a mysterious red winged horse once lived beneath the lake. On starry nights, it would rise from the water and wander across the surrounding meadows.

The creature is connected to Jabučilo, the legendary winged horse of Duke Momčilo, a hero of South Slavic epic poetry. Momčilo and Jabučilo were said to fly between the fortress of Pirlitor and the mountains of Durmitor. This legend, the dark water, and the lake’s isolated setting helped create its mysterious name. 🐎✨

🗿 Medieval Stećci – Grčko Groblje

Near Vražje Jezero and around 200 metres from Riblje Jezero lies Grčko Groblje — a medieval necropolis containing 49 monumental tombstones known as stećci.

Dating mainly from the 14th and early 15th centuries, they include stone slabs, chest-shaped monuments, and tombstones resembling houses with gabled roofs. Many display arcades, vines, spirals, and other symbolic motifs.

Although its name means “Greek Cemetery,” it is not an ancient Greek burial ground. Such names were given to old cemeteries whose origins had been forgotten. Together with Bare Žugića, the site belongs to the internationally protected heritage of medieval stećci. 🏔️📜

Mountain wind, grazing horses, wildflowers, ancient stones, and the silence of the plateau create an almost timeless atmosphere.

🎣 A Historic Fishing Settlement

Pristan was traditionally the fishing settlement and landing place of families from Seoca, especially the Dabanović and Pajović brotherhoods.

For generations, life here depended on the lake. Boats brought in the daily catch, while stone buildings along the shore were used for storing, preparing, processing, and drying fish. More than twenty traditional structures remain, preserving traces of this old way of life. 🐟🛶🏚️

The name “Pristan” reflects its role — a landing place or small harbour where the mountains of Crmnica meet Lake Skadar.

Pristan is not a busy tourist destination — and that is exactly what makes it special.

Although each beach has its own atmosphere, all three are ideal for visitors searching for somewhere more secluded than the best-known beaches of the Budva Riviera.

🌿 Drobni Pijesak
Tucked between olive groves and rugged cliffs, Drobni Pijesak is one of the Budva Riviera’s most beautiful hidden coves. Its name means “fine sand”, although the shore is mainly covered with small golden pebbles.
Emerald water, Mediterranean greenery and a sheltered setting give it a peaceful atmosphere. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing or enjoying a quiet drink beside the sea. A beach bar and restaurant add comfort without taking away the bay’s natural character.
The road down is narrow and steep, while parking is limited in summer, so arriving early is recommended.

❤️ Crvena Glavica
Just east of Sveti Stefan, Crvena Glavica is known for dramatic red cliffs, turquoise water and several small coves connected by coastal paths.
Visitors can explore pebbled shores, rocky corners and beach terraces. Its clear water and unusual coastline are perfect for swimming, relaxing and photography. Despite its famous surroundings, it feels quieter and more intimate than the larger beaches nearby.

💙 Roho Beach
Roho Beach lies within the Crvena Glavica coastline, combining clear water, pebbles, rocky terraces and open Adriatic views.
It has a relaxed but elegant atmosphere, especially in the late afternoon when warm sunlight reaches the cliffs and sea. Roho is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and watching the sunset. Summer evenings can be livelier, but the beach retains its distinctive coastal character.

🚗 Access
The beaches are reached from the Budva–Sveti Stefan area. Roads and paths may be steep or uneven, and summer parking is limited. Bring water, sun protection and suitable footwear.

Skrivene među maslinjacima, crvenim stenama i kristalno čistim morem Budvanske rivijere, Drobni Pijesak, Crvena Glavica i Roho Beach predstavljaju tri prelepa mesta koja mnogi posetioci još uvek ne poznaju. Daleko od gradskih plaža i velikih hotela, ove manje uvale otkrivaju mirniju stranu crnogorske obale. 🌊🇲🇪
🌿 Drobni Pijesak
Skriven između maslinjaka i litica, Drobni Pijesak je jedna od najlepših manjih uvala Budvanske rivijere. Sitni zlatni šljunak, smaragdno more i prirodno okruženje stvaraju mirnu atmosferu.
Plaža je odlična za kupanje, ronjenje i odmor. Ugostiteljski sadržaji pružaju dodatni komfor, ali uvala zadržava svoj prirodni karakter. Put je uzak i strm, a parking leti ograničen.
❤️ Crvena Glavica
Crvena Glavica se nalazi istočno od Svetog Stefana i poznata je po crvenkastim stenama, tirkiznom moru i više manjih uvala.
Šljunkovite plaže, stenoviti delovi i terase čine je idealnom za kupanje, istraživanje i fotografisanje. Iako je blizu poznatih turističkih mesta, pruža mirniji i intimniji doživljaj.
💙 Roho Beach
Roho Beach se nalazi u okviru Crvene Glavice i spaja čisto more, šljunak, stenovite terase i otvorene poglede prema Jadranu.
Ima opuštenu, ali elegantnu atmosferu, posebno kasno popodne i tokom zalaska sunca. Leti može biti življi, ali zadržava poseban primorski karakter.
🚗 Pristup
Do plaža se dolazi iz pravca Budve i Svetog Stefana. Putevi i staze mogu biti strmi ili neravni, a parking je leti ograničen. Ponesite vodu, zaštitu od sunca i odgovarajuću obuću.

Surrounded by rocky cliffs, Mediterranean greenery and crystal-clear Adriatic water, each beach has its own special character.

👑 Kraljičina Plaža, near Čanj, is a beautiful royal cove traditionally associated with Queen Milena Petrović. Its pale pebbles, turquoise water and sheltered position make it one of the most elegant hidden beaches of the Bar Riviera.

💙 Dobreč, on the Luštica Peninsula near Herceg Novi, is known for its clear water, white pebbles, peaceful atmosphere and untouched coastal surroundings. It is a wonderful place for swimming, snorkeling or enjoying a quiet lunch beside the sea.

🌿 Zlatna Uvala is a small and wild golden cove where stone, sea and untouched nature come together. With no busy promenade or large tourist facilities, it offers silence, open Adriatic views and the feeling of discovering a truly secret place.

🚤 The Best Way to Visit

These hidden beaches are mainly reached by boat or taxi boat. The journey across the clear Adriatic water is part of the experience, revealing cliffs, small bays and remote corners of Montenegro’s coastline along the way.

Adventurous visitors may also reach certain beaches on foot using rough coastal paths. These routes can be steep, rocky and difficult, so suitable footwear, enough water and careful preparation are essential. Access conditions differ between the beaches, and driving down unpaved roads is not recommended without a suitable off-road vehicle.

Please respect private property, local nature and the peaceful atmosphere of these special places.

🌿 Zlatna Uvala je mala i divlja uvala u kojoj se spajaju kamen, more i netaknuta priroda. Bez velikih turističkih sadržaja i glasnih barova, pruža tišinu, pogled prema otvorenom Jadranu i osećaj otkrivanja pravog tajnog mesta.

🚤 Najbolji Način za Dolazak

Do ovih skrivenih plaža najlakše se dolazi brodom ili taxi brodom. Sama vožnja je deo doživljaja, jer usput otkriva litice, male uvale i udaljene delove crnogorske obale.

Oni koji žele pravu avanturu do pojedinih plaža mogu stići i peške, grubim priobalnim stazama. Putevi mogu biti strmi, kameniti i zahtevni, pa su dobra obuća, dovoljno vode i pažljiva priprema veoma važni. Ne preporučuje se spuštanje makadamskim putevima bez odgovarajućeg terenskog vozila.

Poštujte privatne posede, prirodu i mir koji ova posebna mesta čini jedinstvenim.

🇲🇪 𝐸𝒽, 𝒹𝒶 𝓂𝒾 𝒿𝑒 𝓈𝒶 𝒩𝒿𝑒𝑔𝓊š𝒶… ❤️

Pjesma nastala po stihovima Draga Ljubovog Ševaljevića sa Njeguša, povodom 13. jula — Dana državnosti Crne Gore.

Ovo je iskrena posveta Njegušima — svima koji su tamo rođeni i odrasli, porodicama koje nose njihovu istoriju i svima koji osjećaju duboku povezanost sa ovim posebnim mjestom.

Kroz svitanje nad Bokom, plavi Jadran, stare lađe kraj Kotora, ponosito Cetinje i svete visine Lovćena, pjesma govori o čežnji za zavičajem i o osjećaju da Crnu Goru nosimo u sebi, gdje god nas život odvede.

Njeguši nijesu samo selo. Oni su rodno mjesto dinastije Petrović-Njegoš, simbol crnogorskog identiteta i vjekovna veza između Boke Kotorske, Cetinja i Lovćena.

Stihove je napisao Drago Ševaljević, sin pokojnog Ljuba Ševaljevića, proslavljenog crnogorskog pjevača narodne muzike. U Dragovim riječima nastavlja da živi duh njegovog oca — kao nasljeđe ljubavi prema Crnoj Gori, njenoj tradiciji, ljudima i zavičaju.

Ova pjesma je posveta Njegušima, Crnoj Gori, njenoj istoriji i svim generacijama koje ovu zemlju nose u srcu.

A song created from the verses of Drago, son of Ljubo Ševaljević from Njeguši, on the occasion of 13 July — Montenegro’s Statehood Day.

This is a heartfelt tribute to Njeguši — to everyone born and raised there, to the families who carry its history, and to all those who feel a deep connection to this remarkable place.

Through images of dawn over Boka, the blue Adriatic, old ships near Kotor, proud Cetinje, and the sacred heights of Lovćen, the song speaks of longing for home and of carrying Montenegro within us wherever life may lead.

Njeguši is more than a village. It is the birthplace of the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty, a symbol of Montenegrin identity, and an enduring connection between Boka Kotorska, Cetinje, and Lovćen.

The verses were written by Drago Ševaljević, son of the late Ljubo Ševaljević, the celebrated Montenegrin folk singer. In Drago’s words, his father’s spirit continues to live — as an inheritance of love for Montenegro, its traditions, its people, and its homeland.

This song is a tribute to Njeguši, to Montenegro, to its history, and to every generation that carries this land in its heart.
