Ime nosi po Italijanu Pjetru Marubiju, koji je sredinom 19. veka u Skadru otvorio prvu foto-radnju na severu Albanije. 📷

Radnju su nasledili njegovi šegrti, djeca baštovana, koji su iz zahvalnosti preuzeli njegovo prezime. Tradicija je trajala do 1950, kada je radnja predata državi.

🎞️ Danas muzej čuva preko 100 godina foto-arhive – uključujući i trenutke sa dvora kralja Nikole Petrovića. 👑🇲🇪

Named after Italian Pietro Marubi, who opened the first photo studio in northern Albania in the mid-19th century. 📷

He left the studio to his apprentices – the gardener’s children – who took his surname out of gratitude. The studio lasted until 1950, when it was nationalized.
