🍇 A Taste of Montenegro — Exploring Its W**e Roads by Car
If you think Montenegro is all about the sea, historic towns and winding mountain roads, take a day to turn off the usual route and head towards the vineyards.
One of the most atmospheric places to explore is Crmnica. Narrow roads, stone houses, green hillsides and small family-run w**eries… Everything feels slower here, more relaxed and wonderfully authentic. You can choose a w**ery in advance, arrange a visit, learn how local w**e is made and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
There’s no need to squeeze too much into one day. One or two stops, lunch somewhere along the way and a little time for a walk — that’s often the kind of day you remember much longer than another rushed sightseeing tour.
Another option is Plantaže and the Šipčanik w**e cellar, located near Podgorica. The scale here is completely different: vast vineyards, guided cellar tours and several tasting programmes. It’s best to check availability and book your visit in advance, especially during the high season.
And please remember the most important thing: w**e routes are for adult guests only, and whoever is driving must skip the tasting. No exceptions. Choose a designated driver in advance or arrange a transfer or taxi — that way, the day stays enjoyable and nobody takes unnecessary risks.
