Hi ...
Had to abandon my tour & head home once I finally got a ferry to Bari from Dubrovnik...
My father was rushed to hospital & needed a blood transfusion. He is in a bad way .. 🤞🏻
Can't continue with my trip at the moment ,so heading home through the lovely Italian thunderstorms ⛈️🌦
I will resume the journey another time. I'll update everything up to my return once I get back to blighty..

Pit stop half way at Karlobag.. don't be put off by the name 😂 its a lovely place ...

Ride/Drive Croatia if you get the chance you wont regret it ..

Day off the bike at Glavani park.
After being shot out of the human catapult & various other activities😳 , spent a couple of hours at a local beach to recover 😂
Went to a small bay called Krnica, as recommended by the park owner ...😃

Along the Italian coast to Trieste via
Portopiccolo, Miramare castle, then the Italian war memorial @ Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Then into Slovenia... fabulous country ride darling ...
More abandoned border contol at Croatian border, that looked brand new 😲 ...
Croatia ... never been here before, what a stunning country 😍.
Fabulous riding, away from motorways etc ... stumbled upon Petra Pilosa castle ... the route went right past it, so rude not to visit.
Finally got to Glavani 😃

Last ride through the Alps to Italy ..
Deserted border control at Tarvisio was sightly spooky ... not sure when it was abandoned... looks like a remnant from the 1980's.
Pretty plain nondescript journey from there to Udine (sorry Italy)

Avoiding motorways & toll roads..
Just roads following rivers, up & around various hills & mountains, hill top castles, Up above the snow line 🥶 through deserted ski resorts, down in the valleys 🌞, constantly changing from hot to cold ...
Brilliant 😃
