Local boys jumping from Galebova Stijena, an eight-metre-high rock near the Ljuta River in the Bay of Kotor. It is a favourite spot for local kids, with a beach right beside it and deep water below. Some of our guests like to give it a try too.

🐬 One of the five dolphins that followed us on our way to the cave yesterday.

Encounters like this have become more frequent in recent days, which makes us especially happy. Together with our friends from MDR, we organize dolphin-watching tours and use a hydrophone to listen for them underwater.

Dolphins are indicator species: their presence—or absence—can tell us something about the health of the marine environment. Sea turtles are another indicator species. In the Bay, however, they are too often victims of careless boating.
