Lovely new review from Nick (or probably his wife!)

The first time they came on the boat I found out that Nick had been a drummer in a famous band. The second time they came out I was chatting to him and he told me the band was reforming.

"That's nice," I thought, "important to keep active and have hobbies when you're retired." "That's great," I said to him, "what band are you in?" He looked at me, and after a pause, said "PULP".

I pulled myself together by the next time they came out sailing, between headlining at Glastonbury and a USA tour.

Lovely family, always welcome on the Monty B. I might do a spot of metal detecting in my retirement, just to keep active.

Well folks, it's that time of year when I succumb to the pressure of using social media to promote myself, despite the lack of statistical evidence that it works (for me)!

First ever wedding on the Monty B! Martin and Katherine from Ireland tied the knot on board, as we sailed round this historic and romantic setting in Perast, Montenegro. A perfect day for everyone.

One marriage proposal last week (she said yes of course), one booked in for next week. Looking forward to the next wedding!

The season is almost over, the speedboats are back in their garages and it's mainly just sailing boats making the most of the beautiful, sunny weather here... for now. Thanks to all my guests this year, the Monty B & crew will be sailing for a while longer!

Monty B on the news!

A British historian who has a holiday home in Montenegro came out with us this summer and we talked shop about the Siege of Cattaro (Kotor) and Sir William Hoste. She's produced a beautiful pack of nautically themed playing cards about naval heroes. Whilst I'm not on there - yet - I was delighted to meet her and receive a complimentary set!
