"The Square of Arms is the main town square and at the same time the biggest one. Its shape resembles the letter L. The origin of the name can be traced in the Venetian period, when the square was used as an arsenal for weapons and arms to be repaired and stored. In this square you can find the Prince’s Palace, Napoleon's theater (The Old Town Hall), the Venetian arsenal, the Town Clock Tower and the infamous Pillory-Pillar of Shame."

"The Church of St. Nicholas is built in 1902, in the place where an older monastery used to be. The monastery was destroyed at the end of the 19th century, in a fire. It is a single-nave church, built in Pseudo-Byzantine style. The church was a project of Ciril Ivekovic. It has two round bell towers and a huge dome. The iconostasis and the mosaic above the main entrance were both made by Frantisek Cigler, a well-known Czech artist.
One of the most valuable possessions of the church is its iconostasis, made in 1908. "

"Saint Luka's Church was built in 1195 in the Roman and Byzantine style. It was founded by Mauro Kacafrangi, during the reign of the Serbian Vice-Roy Nemanja and his son King Vukan. It had been a Roman-Catholic church until the middle of the 17th century, when it was ceded to the Orthodox community which was rapidly growing due to the Candian (Cretan) war against the Turks. Today the church has two altars, both the catholic and the orthodox."

Karampana is the only public well in the Old Town. In the past, it was the only source of fresh water for Kotor. It dates back to the 18th century, and it is a masterpiece of one of the many expert blacksmiths of Kotor.
