🏔️ Two days. Nevidio Canyon, Durmitor & Piva. One unforgettable adventure.

And somewhere along the way, Ivana discovered a new passion for photography. 📷 She brought an old camera that had been sitting unused in our office for more than 10 years — and gave it a new purpose, capturing some beautiful moments from our journey.

That’s what we love about adventures: bringing people together, creating memories, and sometimes discovering something new along the way. ❤️

ROADS LESS TRAVELLED - STORIES FROM MONTENEGRO: SINJAJEVINA

Life on the Sinjajevina Mountain has traditionally been shaped by pastoralism, with local families spending summers in seasonal settlements known as katuns, where they graze sheep, cattle, and horses across the plateau's vast pastures. 🌿
Today, Sinjajevina remains one of the largest mountain pastures in the Balkans and a symbol of Montenegro's rural traditions, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into mountain life, breathtaking scenery, and centuries-old customs that continue to endure. 🌼

On the Road to Velje Duboko with Montenegro Adventures - if you turn towards Mrtvica Canyon from the old Podgorica-Kolasin road, there is a narrow, but new village road to this remote, picturesque village, tucked in the heart of Montenegro, located in the mountain area of Rovac and the canyon of the river Mrtvica.

This time we did not go to the Mrtvica canyon hike, or further towards the scenic limestone plateau of Maganik, we just followed the new winding road to the village of Velje Duboko, taking in the unspoiled beauty of this remote area, that reminded us why every corner of northern Montenegro always feels like an adventure.

Our guests from visited one of the family farms featured in our portfolio. Our host, Nikola, welcomed us with a tour of the estate, sharing stories about honey production and local traditions before we sampled some of his products...
