Our new flavourful, green and digital project journey officially started with a kick-off workshop organised in Riga, Latvia, on 6-8 May 2025.
The program was packed with activities, discussions and fun, where we had the rare pleasure of learning from Hall and about 120 participants and project partners from the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Latvia, Malta, Portugal and Montenegro.
The Cross-Re-Tour projects foster open innovation in the tourism sector, providing opportunities to the 89 selected projects access to knowledge about digital, green and circular economy tools and solutions to improve operational performance.
On the outskirts of the conference, we enjoyed the charm and lively atmosphere of Riga's Old Town, exploring its historical landmarks, restaurants and cafes with our new friends.

The successful conclusion of a great project we participated in!
Today, February 28th, marks the successful conclusion of EU Rural Tourism, a project co-funded by the program of the European Union that has aimed at bolstering small rural tourism enterprises and creating the Eurocluster Rural Tourism. 🚀 🚀
Since its launch in 2022, around 190 micro and nano rural tourism companies in 19 countries have been empowered and uplifted by , enhancing their competitiveness and resilience in their territories.
EU Rural Tourism has been a transformative journey for this businesses that have received the project's support, fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability 💚

On 11 February 2025, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro organised a meeting of 19 Montenegrin companies that had signed contracts for EU-funded projects as part of the EmBRACE initiative. The event featured speeches from Nina Drakić, the Chamber's president, and Maida Gorčević, the Minister of European Affairs. Representatives from the companies took the opportunity to present their projects and share insights about their experiences in securing EU funding.
Montenegro Adventures shared the experience of partner search and process from project idea to submission of the final project, "Adriatic & Beyond: Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina – Explore the Adriatic’s Coastal Jewels and the Balkans’ Wild Highlands in One Epic Journey." This was one of the projects that secured funding through the EmBRACE program under the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme for Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
“Winning this grant is a significant milestone for us. By working together across borders, we are enhancing the visibility of our destinations and equipping the participating three tourism SMEs with the tools they need to succeed in today’s digital world,” said Slavica Vukčević, CEO of Montenegro Adventures. Also, tourism SMEs are for decades stakeholders in various tourism projects implemented by NGOs or institutions, sometimes we are vendors/contractors when it comes to the organisation of travel arrangements or conferences and events during projects, but what is specific for this regional Call was that the are finally allowed to become the implementors, to conduct the research, create the strategy, compete and win the much-needed support for the activities that are vital for their growth.

Montenegro Adventures DMC, established in August 2006, by a group of dedicated professionals, has successfully developed to a reliable full service agency with very diverse products, and with a strong focus on Montenegro and the neighboring countries.
The big part of our portfolio consists of individual and small group luxury travel, but we also provide spectrum of services to a growing variety of customers from all corners of the Globe: accommodation (from 4-5 star hotels, luxurious villas to small family owned hotels, apartments, home-stays and rural accommodation); conferences and incentive trips, package tours, plane tickets, transfers and car rentals as well as consultancy services in different areas related to sustainable tourism.
We are currently developing several distinctive departments:
• Incoming – Variety of tours focusing on cultural heritage, nature and gastronomy of the region – for individuals as well as groups, with a growing number of scheduled and guaranteed departures; fly-drive tours with range of options; hiking and activity tours; city tours, day tours… we offer selection of accommodation as well as services (transfers, car rentals, activities such as rafting, kite surfing etc.)
• MICE – organization of meetings, incentives, conferences, corporate and private events.
• Outgoing – plane tickets, travel insurance, individual and group travel.
• Consultancy – developing and delivering set of learning modules related to product development, marketing, branding, management, finances for SMEs, HR for SMEs, citizens’ participation etc.
OUR MARKETS
Our initial focus was a UK market, but as the agency developed, new markets were included in our portfolio. Currently our clients are coming from UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Lebanon, Russia, Korea, China and Japan. In order to expand and offer regional products, we have established close partnerships with the selected tour operators from neighboring countries.
MICE
We are one of the founders of Montenegrin Convention Bureau and as such presented in variety of publications in country and abroad. Our client database include: World Bank, IFC – International Finance Corporation, UNICEF, RaiffeisenInvestment, Arcelor Mittal, Xerox Eastern Europe, CHF International, OSCE, Council of Europe, Forum MNE, Rosam Service Moscow, OECD Paris, UNESCO, as well as various governmental institutions from Montenegro.
Montenegro Adventures has printed more than 55.000 brochures in four languages and presented its products at regional and international fairs in London, Berlin, Brussels, Luxembourg, Gothenburg, Istanbul and Belgrade.
