📍 Today, AmCham Montenegro hosted the third Rule of Dialogue (RoD) Breakfast Session with the Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj.

We had the honor of welcoming H.E. Judy Rising Reinke, U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, as our special guest. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ambassador for her continued support and engagement with the business community — your presence and partnership mean a great deal to us. 🇺🇸🇲🇪

During the session, Minister Dukaj presented key policies aimed at improving the business environment, with a special focus on the Full Implementation Plan for Transactional Public e-Services at the National and Local Level (2025–2027).

The RoD Breakfast Session continues to be a valuable platform for open dialogue between government and the business community, addressing challenges and priorities on the path toward a more efficient and digitally-driven Montenegro.

Predsjednica Upravnog odbora AmCham-a, Sanja Ćalasan, dala je intervju za u kojem se osvrnula na preporuke Komore za poboljšanje poslovnog ambijenta, te konkretne korake u cilju privlačenja američkih i stranih investicija. “AmCham-ov izvještaj treba shvatiti kao priliku da prepoznamo konkretna područja koja trebaju biti unaprijeđena, ali i kao poziv svim članovima društva da zajedno radimo na tome da poslovni ambijent postane konkurentniji i efikasniji. Poboljšanje konsultacija, jačanje transparentnosti i donošenje politika koje direktno podržavaju privredu, biće ključni koraci ka unapređenju ukupne poslovne klime. Ako svi zajedno, uključujući i vladine institucije i privatni sektor, budemo ulagali u ove aspekte, sigurno ćemo stvoriti povoljnije i sigurnije okruženje za razvoj i rast, što će imati dugoročne koristi za privredu i društvo u cjelini”, kazala je predsjednica.

Izvršni direktor AmCham-a, dr Marko Miročević, za STANDARD: Ključni uslovi za više investicija su skraćenje sudskih postupaka i digitalna transformacija

"Američka privredna komora u Crnoj Gori je nedavno predstavila svoj Izvještaj o poslovnom ambijentu za 2023/2024 godinu. U njemu je jasno ukazano da imamo nesumnjiv potencijal baziran na geografskoj lokaciji, bogatstvu prirodnim resursima, povoljnom poreskom ambijentu, članstvu u NATO-u i intenzivnom putu ka članstvu u EU. Međutim, kako bi iskoristili taj potencijal Crna Gora mora unaprijediti vladavinu prava i pravnu sigurnost.

U tom smislu, poslovna zajednica prepoznaje predugo trajanje sudskih postupaka kao izazov koji se mora riješiti. Nadalje, potrebno je fokus staviti na digitalnoj transformaciji društva i ekonomije, što bi omogućilo da se brendiramo kao moderna država u skladu sa savremenim trendovima razvoja koji se baziraju na novim tehnologijama predvođenim eksponencijalnim napretkom na polju vještačke inteligencije. To bi izvjesno dovelo do značajnog napretka i na suzbijanju sive ekonomije i unaprijedilo efikasnost javne administracije, dva izazova sa kojima se takođe moramo izboriti. Ukoliko na pomenutim poljima napravimo značajne iskorake, zajedno sa intenzivnim razvojem saobraćajne infrastrukture, vjerujem da bi priliv SDI u Crnu Goru bio značajno veći."

Krolbay Company was founded 2019, with the primary activity Hotel industry. During 2019 and in the first half of 2020 they were engaged in the reconstruction and adaptation of the former Vrmac Hotel creating a new Hotel complex under the name Blue Kotor Bay Premium Spa Resort.

After that, they signed a franchise agreement with the Hyatt Corporation. This contract aims to open the first Hyatt hotel in Montenegro. Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort was opened 2023 and has been operating with 252 accommodation units since that day.

The Krolbay company applies high world standards in the hotel industry, trying to keep up with innovation and technology, with a strong focus on sustainable development and helping the local community through various activities and financial assistance in culture, sports, and education. Using the latest technology we are reducing the cost of electrical energy and greenhouse gas emissions, further optimizing air condition usage, solar panels, and seawater usage are just some of them.
