In July, we made friends across the globe, and turns out those bonds easily transcend oceans. 🌊✨

This month has been close to heart in so many ways, showing some amazing people from Germany 🇩🇪, Belgium 🇧🇪, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, and France 🇫🇷 the unfiltered and raw soul of Montenegro. 🇲🇪

So we dodged Tara's rapids 🌊, felt small beneath the limestone giants of Durmitor and Crvena Greda, conquered peaks, lazy-sailed through Boka Bay, and even squeezed in some pretty awesome fly fishing. 🎣⛵⛰️

To top off an already unforgettable season, our previous guests and now friends from Canada 🇨🇦 sent the most heartwarming surprise for our newest crew member, who arrived this July. 🍼

This handmade quilt from Kathy and Brian is officially our baby's first piece of adventure gear.
She hasn't even mastered crawling yet, but thanks to our friends, her backcountry nap game is already legendary. 🙃
We can't wait for you all to meet her when she starts leading the expeditions in, you know, maybe 15 years or so. 😌

See our guest in the first picture? That's her, holding a traditional Montenegrin gusle.
Our Djoko is an artisan who meticulously crafts these instruments by hand, and for a short, beautiful moment, our guests became his 'students'. ☺️
This was an authentic connection and a genuine exchange of culture and craft.
