Built by the inhabitants of Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks hides many secrets about its origin, and thanks to our maritime families, the church on the island, built in the 17th century, is one of the most beautiful and impressive ones in this part of Montenegro. After visiting the island, we have free time to discover the charming Perast, the baroque city-museum, the city of old churches, palaces, noble families, museums ..

MONTENEGRO TOUR
This trip will give you a unique opportunity to visit several places of great significance in Montenegro in just one day: Budva , Cetinje and the village of Njegusi – the birthplace of a great ruler and poet Petar II Petrovic , commonly referred to as Njegos .

Strolling through the streets of Budva ’ s well – preserved medieval Old Town , you will see a wide range of historical monuments , churches , souvenir shops and more . A short photo stop near Sveti Stefan ( a beautifully preserved 15th century fishing village on a fortified islet ) after which we head to Cetinje . This small town situated at the foot of Mt. Lovcen was founded in 1482 and represents the historical and cultural centre of Montenegro .
Drive to the most prominent village of Njegusi located on the slopes of Mt. Lovcen , visit to the family home of a local host and tasting the best home – made products : smoked porosciutto and cheese and home – made wine and local brandy .

Driving down the old 25 serpentine road with stunning views , we return to our hotel .

OSTROG MONASTERY & PODGORICA
Visit one of the greatest sanctuaries in Montenegro - Ostrog Monastery - which is located between Niksic and Podgorica . The monastery is built into sheer cliffs at 900 meters above sea level , with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding plains . It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog who was buried there . The centuries – old complex consists of the lower and upper monastery and also has a dormitory, souvenir shop , confessional rooms and other monastery rooms for monks and visitors. Inside the monastery there are frescoes from the 17 th century out of which three are UNESCO – protected .
You will have free time to explore the inside of the monastery and see The Holy Cross Church and the relics of St. Basil . After visiting the monastery, we head to the capital city – Podgorica .
Panoramic drive through the city followed by free time after which we return to the coast.

After meeting with the guide and driver , we depart to explore the neighboaring country - Albania , also known as the country of eagles and bunkers . During this excursion we will visit Shkodra - one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded in the 4th century B.C. This city, which is well known for its culture , tradition and natural beauty, offers a touristic diversity that is rarely found in any other city in Albania . The tour also includes visit to the most popular sightseeing in Shkodra which was built on a rocky hill overlooking the city : The Castle of Rozafa . Free time for shopping and lunch ( not included in the price ) after which we return to Montenegro.
