🇲🇬 Every five years, Belo-sur-Tsiribihina hosts Fitampoha.
From 21 to 28 August, the Sakalava people come together for this important traditional ceremony.
Fitampoha is one of Madagascar’s long-standing cultural traditions, and being there gives you the chance to see a part of the country that you won’t find in a typical itinerary.
If you’re going to be in western Madagascar at this time, it might be worth adding to your route.
