Lemurs have one of the strangest natural habits in the animal kingdom. Some species intentionally chew toxic millipedes, not to eat them, but to trigger the release of defensive chemicals that may help repel parasites like mosquitoes and possibly create a temporary intoxicating effect. Nature’s version of self-medication is far weirder than fiction. 🐒🪲🌿
