⚽ Supporting Local Talent in Fort-Dauphin

At Dadamanga Tours, we see Corporate Social Responsibility as a practical commitment on the ground.

Our team recently participated in a 7-a-side inter-company football tournament organized by the 3AS team, who will represent Fort-Dauphin at the regional championship.

The objective of this initiative was clear:
to mobilize financial, material, and moral support to help these young athletes continue their journey at a higher competitive level.

We are proud to have contributed through our participation — and honored to have won the tournament 🏆

However, beyond the result, what truly matters is the impact:
Supporting youth engagement, promoting sport, and contributing to local development.

Congratulations to the 3AS team for their initiative and commitment.
And thank you to our Dadamanga team for their strong team spirit.

Because sustainable tourism also means investing in people and communities.

One of the most powerful wildlife experiences in Madagascar is not something you see first — it’s something you hear.

Deep in the rainforest of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, the call of the Indri indri echoes through the canopy.

For many international travelers, this moment becomes unforgettable.

The indri is the largest living lemur, known for its distinctive black and white fur and its unique, almost human-like vocalizations. Unlike other lemurs, it cannot survive in captivity — making the preservation of its natural habitat essential.

From a destination perspective, experiences like this define Madagascar.

They are not manufactured.
They are not replicated.
They depend entirely on ecosystem conservation and careful, well-planned travel.

At Dadamanga, we see these moments as more than highlights — they are the reason why Madagascar requires thoughtful itinerary design, experienced guides, and respect for nature.

Because in Madagascar, the most memorable experiences are often the most authentic ones.

International Women’s Day – March 8

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — a moment to recognize the strength, resilience, and impact of women around the world.

At Dadamanga Tours, women are at the heart of our journey.

Behind every itinerary, every guest experience, and every successful trip across Madagascar, there are dedicated women contributing their talent, passion, and professionalism. From our team members and guides to our partners and community collaborators, their work helps shape the spirit and quality of what we do.

Today we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to the women who support, inspire, and help drive the growth of Dadamanga every day. Your commitment not only strengthens our company but also contributes to the development of tourism and opportunities across Madagascar.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women making a difference. 💛

We are proud to share that Dadamanga Tours has once again been recognized as Tour Operator of the Year – Madagascar in the 2026 edition of the Corporate LiveWire Innovation Awards.

Each year, readers, contributors, and an independent judging panel review companies across industries, assessing their impact, expertise, and professional standards. After evaluating previous winners alongside new nominees, the judges confirmed Dadamanga as the strongest entrant again this year.

This recognition reflects the work of our entire team and our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, well-planned travel experiences in Madagascar, particularly for international and anglophone travelers seeking reliability, expertise, and authentic journeys.

We look forward to the official 2026 press launch and to continuing to showcase Madagascar as one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.

What to See in Antananarivo (Tananarivo)?
Many travelers see Antananarivo as just a transit point.

We see it differently.

The capital is the cultural and historical gateway to Madagascar — and when planned correctly, it sets the tone for the entire journey.

In Antananarivo, you discover:

• The historic Upper Town and the Rova of Antananarivo, overlooking the city
• The UNESCO World Heritage royal hill of Ambohimanga
• Contemporary Malagasy art and history at Andafiavaratra Palace
• Local craftsmanship and daily life in markets like Analakely Market
• Even close-up lemur encounters at Lemurs' Park, just outside the city

For international travelers, especially first-time visitors to Madagascar, Antananarivo is not about “checking a capital off the list.”

It is about:
Understanding Malagasy history.
Experiencing authentic urban culture.
Transitioning smoothly before heading into remote landscapes.

With the right pacing, 1–2 nights in the capital creates depth, context, and comfort — especially for anglophone travelers expecting professional standards and seamless logistics.

In destination management, details matter.

And the journey starts in the capital.
