The Moon festival of Thadingyut is one of the highlight celebrations in Dawei Region. Every year during the night, thousands of people float their candle at the river. This year the locals spend more time in decorating their houses and the streets. Hopefully next year many tourists can come to visit Dawei Region again during the festival.
