Thadingyut is an auspicious occasion of Buddhist Myanmar people, falling on the month of Thadingyut in Myanmar Calendar. 🕯️🕯️🏮

This festival is the celebration to welcome Buddha's descent from heaven after he preached Abhidhamma to his mother, Maya, who is reborn in the heaven. 🙏🙏

So, people lit the candles to welcome Buddha when he descended to Human abode from heaven on the fullmoon day of Thadingyut. 🕯️

Since that time, Buddhist people light the candles on the street and home on every full moon day of thadingyut in the memory of the Buddha's descent.🕯️🎇🎆

Happy Warso Full Moon Day🌕🌟

Warso Full Moon day is a very sacred day for Buddhists because Lord Buddha preached his very first sermon "Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta" on the full moon day of Warso.So, it is also called "Dhammacakka Day." To commemorate the Buddha's first sermon, Buddhists do good deeds on the day. The day also marks the beginning of Buddhidt Lent. A significant and delightful deed for Buddhists in Warso is to offer robes to the monks for using during the Lent. It is called Warso robes. The month of Warso is the fourth one in the Myanmar calendar. In this auspicious occasion of Warso full moon day, wish you a peaceful mind and healthy life.
