Cycling to Myingyan - Mount Popa - Bagan

( 10 October 2019 to 13 October 2019 )

I have two guests who would like to ride for 3 days trip as below ...

Day 1 ) Ride from Mandalay to Myingyan (90 km )
Over night at Guest House

Day 2 ) Myingyan - Mount Popa ( 80 km )
Over night at guest house

Day 3 ) Mount Popa - Bagan (70 km )
Visit some famous temples in the afternoon .

Over night in Bagan

Day 4 ) Bagan -Mandalay ( 25 km )
Visit in the morning for temples andd pagodas .
Afternoon take a mini van back to Mandalay ..

This is 4 days cycling trip ..
The trip is comfirmed to depart .

Date .of start .. 10 .10 .2019
Date of finish .. 13.10.2019
(Arrive back to Mandalay on 13 .October night )

We are running a day tour tomorrow , to visit Amarapura , a former capital of Mandalay , High lights are U Pein Teak bridge ( longgest teak bridge in the world ) in the morning .
Mahagandayone Monastery ( biggest monestery in Amarapura with 1500 monks ) , a chance to see routine of monks .
Traditional Silk weaving by hand looms.

Continue to Ava ( Innwa ) , visit a special place of making alms bowl for monks , unknow pagodas ( less visit by tourists ) in Ava , then take a ferry to cross Small River , then cycle back to Mandalay .

It seeems to be a long day ,but enjoyable route , more cultural visits ..
Good combination of sightseeing and Biking for those who does not want to sit in a van ..
