Elephant Camp @ Riding Trip. ( YMH- 09 )
The Elephant camp, a bout twelve miles a ways from the beach and opposite of the countryside, seven villages were laying down on the river bank, was located on end of those seven villages. After we drop out of the car, if we take a hundred steps towards it, we will approach to the river called Thandwe River that was based on the Ranges from East to West till mouth of Bay of Bangle as a snake. The boat men and their traditional Long Tail Boats are waiting for you to do cruising up to the river. Soon after monsoon, start October to till February, everywhere, I means, the whole countryside is full of green, fresh air and cool along the river up. The people, who settle there are belonging very simply life, the women who had got enough ages are sitting down on the bank and having shower with heavily. Some lady, who had middle ages are washing clothes at showering, some boys and girls are swimming here to there and some kids are playing football on the bank. Most of the men are carrying the water for their cows, buffaloes or for other use. Most of them are farmers. For the naturally, those people are living by growing seasonal fruits for their income after rainy season. The buffaloes, they are very fantastic along the river. When we approach to the other side of the river, the Elephants are welcome to you accompany by their baby elephants to have shower together with you. After showering, you can do start riding the Elephants towards to the Camp. We will have small breakfast when we arrived to the Camp. It will take about half day trip over. So, you may have very funny trip, a good experience by river cruising and it will be exciting trip as well. Including guide service, seasonal fruits, drinking water, soft drink, served with local lunch with local food and some banana for the Elephants. We start leave at 07:00 am and might be arrive back to hotel about 13:00 hrs or 13:30 hrs.
