Next to the Inle Lake and near Nyaung Shwe town there are some swimming pools fueled by hot water springs. It's a great place to relax and laze away the hot afternoon.

There is a great variety of delicious local food available around the Inle Lake. The diet is mainly based on vegetables, rice and fish. Try the shan noodle soup as well, it's yummy!
