𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
Due to the ongoing shortage of Jet A1 fuel in Myanmar, MAI has no choice but to limit the baggage allowance on our international flights to ensure we can continue operating our flights without interruptions or cancellations, as we have experienced in the domestic market.
Hence, MAI will implement temporary baggage revision on all international flights with immediate effect until further notice:
• Economy Class: 20KG (limited to 1 piece)
• Business Class: 30KG (limited to 1 piece)
• Hand-carry: 7KG (limited to 2 pieces)
• Excess Baggage: Max 5KG
• Remarks: Extra baggage acceptance will be strictly determined by our airport team.
We would also like to inform you that MAI may offload any baggage or deny any non-compliant baggage at the airport. MAI will do its utmost to deliver the offloaded baggage to its rightful owner within 72 hours. MAI will also refund passengers who have already purchased any excess baggage, as we are unable to carry them for the time being.
We want to reassure our guests that we did all we could, but we were faced with only two options: either operate our international flights as scheduled, or cancel them completely, which could affect thousands of passengers already planning their trips with MAI across our network.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, this is our only option until conditions improve in our home country, Myanmar.

ချစ်ခင်လေးစားရပါသော ခရီးသည်များရှင်
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် Jet A1 လေယာဥ်ဆီ မလုံလောက်မှု ပြဿနာများ ဆက်လက်ဖြစ်ပေါ်နေသဖြင့် MAI သည် နိုင်ငံတကာလေကြောင်းခရီးစဉ်များကို အခက်အခဲမရှိ ဆက်လက်ပြေးဆွဲနိုင်ရန်အတွက် ခရီးဆောင်အလေးချိန် ကန့်သတ်ချက်များကို မဖြစ်မနေ လျှော့ချသတ်မှတ်ရခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ယခုဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်သည် ပြည်တွင်းလေကြောင်းစျေးကွက်တွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်ခဲ့သည့် ခရီးစဉ်ဖျက်သိမ်းခြင်းများ ထပ်မံမဖြစ်ပေါ်စေရန်အတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။
ထို့ကြောင့် MAI သည် နိုင်ငံတကာလေကြောင်းခရီးစဉ်အားလုံးအတွက် ယာယီခရီးဆောင်အလေးချိန် ပြင်ဆင်ချက်ကို အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ချက်ချင်းအကျိုးသက်ရောက်စေမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး နောက်ထပ်ကြေညာချက်အသစ် မထုတ်ပြန်သည်အထိ အကျုံးဝင်ကာ အသုံးပြုသွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ထို့အပြင် MAI သည်ပျံသန်းမှု လိုအပ်ချက်များအရ ခရီးဆောင်အိတ်များကို လေဆိပ်တွင် ပယ်ချခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် မတင်ဆောင်နိုင်ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပေါ်နိုင်ကြောင်း အသိပေးအပ်ပါသည်။ မတင်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့သော ခရီးဆောင်အိတ်များကို ၇၂ နာရီအတွင်း ပိုင်ရှင်ခရီးသည်များထံသို့ ပြန်လည်ပို့ဆောင်ပေးနိုင်ရန် အကောင်းဆုံး ကြိုးပမ်းသွားမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်းအသိပေးအပ်ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် ယခုထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ ကြိုတင်ဝယ်ယူထားသော Prepaid excess baggage များကို ယာယီမတင်ဆောင်နိုင်သဖြင့်ခရီးသည်များအား refund ပြန်လည်ပေးအပ်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
MAI အနေဖြင့် ခရီးသည်များ အဆင်ပြေ ချောမွေ့စွာခရီးသွားနိုင်ရေးအတွက် အစွမ်းကုန် ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချစေ လို ပါသည်။ ယခုအခြေအနေသည် နိုင်ငံတကာလေကြောင်းခရီးစဉ်များကို အချိန်ဇယားအတိုင်း ဆက်လက်ပြေးဆွဲခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် လုံးဝ ဖျက်သိမ်းခြင်း ဟူသော ရွေးချယ်စရာ နှစ်ခုသာ ကျန်ရှိပါတော့သည်။ ဖျက်သိမ်းမည်ဆိုပါက MAI နှင့် ခရီးစဉ်များ စီစဉ်ထားပြီးသား ခရီးသည်ထောင်ပေါင်းများစွာအပေါ် သက်ရောက်မှုရှိနိုင်ပါသဖြင့် ယခုကဲ့သို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်ဆောင်ရွက်ရခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ယခုကဲ့သို ခက်ခဲလှသည့် အခြေအနေများတွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့် အဆင်မပြေမှုများအတွက် MAI မှ ခရီးသည်များအားအထူးတောင်းပန်အပ်ပါသည်။ယခုကဲ့သို့ခက်ခဲသောကာလအတွင်း ခရီးသည်များ၏ နားလည်ပံ့ပိုးပေးမှုကို လေးစားစွာ ဖြင့် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။
