Global Asia Myanmar Travels & Tours DMC Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our operations and drive growth in the Myanmar travel & tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities
Set the strategic direction and oversee day-to-day operations of the company.
Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
Manage sales, marketing, and product development to expand market share.
Lead, mentor, and manage senior department heads (Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, HR).
Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients.
Monitor financial performance, ensure compliance, and optimize cost efficiency.
Drive operational excellence, risk management, and safety standards.
Represent the company in industry events, negotiations, and stakeholder meetings.
Foster a positive organizational culture with a focus on leadership development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: : Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 8–12 years of progressive leadership experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or DMC/TMO environments; proven track record in managing P&L, sales growth, and operational excellence.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, build high-performance cultures, and develop senior managers.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Myanmar travel landscape, inbound/outbound markets, supplier networks, and regulatory framework.
Strategic & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to develop strategic plans, analyze market data, and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
Sales & Marketing: Experience in B2B/B2C sales, product development, partnerships, and digital marketing strategies.
Financial Acumen: Budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English;
Technology: Proficiency with travel industry software, MS Office; familiarity with CRM, ERP, and online distribution channels.
Travel & Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required; ability to work beyond regular hours when needed.
